Oh no, en passant, it's a special moves pawns can make (along with castling, it's the only weird move in chess). Basically, if a pawn has advanced to the fifth rank, so it's moved it's initial two squares forwards, then moved another square forwards, if an enemy pawn does it's two moves passed it, you can take that pawn as though it's only moved one square. It's call 'en passant', 'on passing'. It's actually quite a crucial move. So that pawn of mine is now on d6.

Did any of that make sense? It didn't did it... You want to take the move back?
