At the time I balked at paying £100 for a toy. Times change.. Oh yeah. And what's fun is that despite having both reduced my mortgage and had pay rises since then, thanks to government maliciousness/incompetence I'm still just as unable to afford a Titan these days. Well done everyone!

I have had two tiny pay rises since 2021 but tax changes have wiped them out and also means I have *less* actually coming in as a result! Work pays!
Ee, METROPLEX.

What's the thread count on you mentioning this now Llama? I'm not in a lot of threads, but that's at least three now?

Should be pretty much all of them, if I'm doing my job right.

Liz is away this week so I'm doing some prep for the next stage of moving stuff to the garage. As those on the call heard what I think the Garage really needs is some Big Robots so the Titans are taking a trip down there so I'm busy assembling them in one place to go out the door, into the van and into the garage. As such there are currently NINE Titan Class toys looking at me from the other side of the living room. Tidal Wave's in the bedroom, he's too new to go into storage, and The Ark & Predaking are in the loft. Present ate: T30 Metroplex
CW (well UW) Devastator
TR (Legends) Fort Max
TR Trypticon
Legends Grand Max
Siege Omega Supreme
Earthrise Scorpononok
Legacy Cybertron Metroplex
Legacy Selects Black Zarek I will get a photo of all 12 together I had forgotten what a bugger Devastator was. Bits on his legs kept wanting to bend in odd places. The assumed SS86 can't come quick enough!

Managed to open Nemesis finally this week, new Metroplex still remains untouched but I might have a nose at it at some point soon. Tidal Wave is still going to wait 6 months or so before I get it.

Tidal Wave's in the bedroom whilst the wife's away, eh, Phil? I'm not sure that's the kind of information you should be putting on a public forum...
Although I also doubt she'd be surprised.
Anyway, still Trypticon for me. None of the other Titans have yet surpassed the giant robot dinosaur city that can eat tiny figures. And given Hasbro's move to Titans as being "just really big figures" nowadays, no Titan ever will...

Of the original moulds it's still Scorponok for me, just slightly ahead of Trypticon
I do feel that the two Unicron Trilogy Titans - Armada Tital Wave and Cybertron Metroplex - were both worth doing at that scale.
But where do they fit in the overall ranking?
Scorponok & Trypitcon at the top, followed by Omega Supreme
The two combiners at the bottom
Max and Metroplex in the middle

The fact we had a Predaking Titan somehow always just slides out of my memory before it can get any kind of a grip.
Of the ones I have experienced, Trypticon still takes it followed by Omega and tbh I haven't yet opened my cheap Cybertron Metroplex but I'm pretty sure he'd be third.
Wasn't ER Scorponok due a reissue this year, maybe just in Asia? It didn't seem to translate to him being available anywhere convenient if it did happen.

THE ARK.
Never thought we would get a toy of it. Feels like a proper toy too rather than an Adult Collectable. I like the detachable computer bank/mainframe and the wee bridge. I of course lost Tiny Prime within seconds so my bridge remains unmanned.
Bonus point for robot mode looking a bit like The Last Autobot.
Trypticon would be my #2 for the reasons Llama described.

In the loft with The Ark. Hopefully fetch them down and get an updated photo by the end of the week. Blimey. Tidal Wave is a bit titchy. -Ralph Same height as Devastator. He doesn't feel small by himself

Tidal Wave and Chums Having had these guys looking at me for the last two days I've just spotted Omega's waist and upper legs are the wrong way round! The lower legs have been rotated at the knees to compensate which has resulted in their more curved outer edges facing each other while the straight edge, which are meant to be on the inside, face out

It really stands out how small Tidal Wave is, at least in robot mode. He still looks great, and I want to get one at some point, but that's a bit disappointing.

Maybe some of the bulk ended up going to the smaller bits that augment Armada Megatron. But I'm willing to bet it's also partly shrinkflation

Unite Devastator is still the most fun Ive had with the Titan class. Not so much the combined form, but the individual figures are mostly a lot of fun. Of the rest I still really like original Metroplex. Trypticon came out during a period when excessive sculpted detailing spoilt my enjoyment. The Max are okay I just dont like them as much as Metroplex. Omega is fine.
I still havent opend the Ark or Scorponok/BZ. All look good, though I suspect I'll enjoy the Ark more.

There is ONLY ONE TITAN:
OMEGA SUPREME.
I do love Devastator though (the only other one I own). Yes, he's a wobbly, fall-aparty mess, BUT HE'S A BIG DEVASTATOR! At last!

I picked up an undersized KO of Devastator. Making him about the same size as the CW lads works better for me.
