I just noticed, Optimus' symbols are sculpted on. Looks like even his shoulder symbol.

They, er, don't look like very good Legion toys compared to the RID ones. Hmmm.

It seems these are from a special 'value' line. Not Cyber Bath. TFW seems to think it's something to do with the American equivalent of QVC.

These look more like upscaled versions of the Tiny Turbo Changers.

I dont know about QVC, but these do feel like a line aimed at the US equivilants of Poundland.
Which really isnt the worst idea, those stores are going to stock some kind of incredibly cheap robot toys anyway, as often as not KOs of Hasbro ones, so why not provide a legit version.

Don't think I've seen the Megatron art before.

I'm kinda starting to think these are legend/cyberverse commander sized, and not legion. Megatron and Starscream scream this. Op and Bumblebee don't, but why would they be an entire size class smaller?

Megatron and Starscream look far superior to Optimus and Bumblebee. That Megatron's actually pretty darn good!

That's... bizarre. Maybe they've not heard that Bumblebee shelf-warms..?

That's... bizarre. Maybe they've not heard that Bumblebee shelf-warms..? They definitely haven't. The toy sections should be a laugh when the Bumblebee movie comes out. Shelving units will have a 3 month redesign of yellow and black.

I'll admit that hasbro's gotten a *lot* better with bumblebee. He hasn't been in the nurid warrior line in quite a while, the other nurids have been much more reasonable, he's only had one generations release in years, while the only major shelfwarming 'bee is TLK wave one, and he's hardly alone in that.

Grimlock looks awful has a transforming toy - it looks more like a hero masher toy they just tried to alter

Do you think they called these 'Authentics' because they look so bloody awful everyone would assume they're knock-offs otherwise?

I can't see the name 'Authentics' on the packaging in that picture.

Yeah, Optimus does look shitty. Which... is kind of the point of this line. But I was surprised by the build quality of the "cheap" Cyber Series figures. This though... really is cheap. I want them anyway. And look forward to them being a tenner each in Asda. Or something ridiculous like that.
