Been seeing a lot of sexual harassment stuff around on twitter about TFN, not really paid enough attention to figure out what the deal is, but the moral of the story is keep your grubby hands to yourselves kids.

I'd ask people not to speculate. The matter is in in hand. Rest assured it is not something that TFN tolerates.

You will have seen by now a certain retina-tingling theme creep into TFNation for 2018 and that is of course the wonder of G2. So it's only natural that this year's convention programme reflect this. Nailing our colours to the mast with a striking cover, art courtesy of Ed Pirrie and Liam Shalloo depicting TFNation mascot Genericon in a pose familiar to readers of Marvel's Transformers Generation 2 Issue 1. It's not just a pretty cover for inside you will find our traditional guest signing sheet - ideal for the autograph hunter who has ran out of space packing ahead of the event. Ideal for framing after the event, just make sure you are careful removing the staples. We do like to look after you so we've also included your convention survival kit which consists of: A map - after all you need to know where you are. A timetable so you can plan your days. An expanded schedule with a little more detail about all those panels and activities. We've also some tips for the event suitable for the convention neophyte and hardened veteran alike! No need to worry about tracking this fine publication down, as your convention programme is free for attendees to pick up from the Registration Desk when your collect your wristbands.

That's impossible to answer! All of it!

The correct answer is: the Ladybird-inspired convention book and the TMUK fanzines, Ralph.

I am not going to lie, at the moment I am really struggling to build up any excitement for TFN. Maybe it still isn't registering to me that it is next week. Hopefully once realisation sinks in, I shall feel the surge of excitement.

The 7am ish train I have booked for the Monday morning was at least half the price of the next cheapest train that day, so saved me about ÂŁ28 on the return journey. I did manage to get a Thursday night room this year, but again the best priced train by about a ÂŁ20 margin I can get has me arriving at International approx 8:30pm. No Megabuses for me this year.

Yes, the fanzines, correct answer The correct answer is: the Ladybird-inspired convention book and the TMUK fanzines, Ralph. In all honesty these are the most prized possessions I take away from the weekend. I love fan writing and fanzines - have done in any fandom I've been a part of. I've contributed to many over the years and edited my own for a long time. Anything I've been heavily into in my life has involved some kind of writing, and I love seeing what others put together. The Little Book of Masterforce and the Decepticons' Time Terror will be a huge part of my weekend enjoyment, and now there's another TMUK Production too! And the badges. Oh the badges.

Used to. Not now. Years back I edited and produced a Blake's 7 zine.
Think the first couple I did on my Archimedes, then used whatever that popular DTP package was on the Amiga.

Really?! If I can find the box they're in. I might have some spares of the later ones. This was a 90s endeavour. Multipurpose zine for a regional fan group. News/reviews/fiction/art type thing.

I did! I called it a newsletter at the time, but it'd be called a zine these days. If I can't find spare copies I'll scan some.

No scanning in those days. I remember taking actual photographs, getting them printed at Boots and then sticking them into the pages before photocopying.
Final Writer. That was the Amiga DTP program I used.
