They will be good. Open them instead. Thunderwarp it is then. Gotta be better than Skycracker.

I think these are the only G1 moulds I haven't "had a go on". Definitely high on the want list, but too pricey for me.

One day I'm just going to go mental and buy one of these sets. I think this trio have become my most desired holy grail. If this counts as a grail. I'm never sure what is. I think that it needs to have been used to serve wine at the Last Supper. Big Powered looks like it might have been big enough and chunky enough to be used for that, so maybe...

Not sure what's going on, but I recognise the name 'Dai Atlas'. And it's a great name! Yes, who knew that that Titan of Greek mythology condemned to hold up the heavens for all eternity was in fact Welsh? Big Dave the Maps, there.

Compare and contrast: Those two pictures are the same. In every way. Indeed! Although I notice the artist got a bit lazy on the detail when drawing the toys massive ultra detailed shoulder pad cannons. That it absolutely has.

I some how have wound up with all three. Admittedly junkers. I cant remember if they were direct from Yahoo Japan or if I picked them up in the early days of Toy-Fu when Nick hated selling incomplete toys so put ridiculous prices on them. One of them (sonic bomber) might have been a Botcon purchase thinking about it. My Dai Atlas has been kitted out with parts from the fairly accurate but not great quality knockoff. SonicBomber is figure only as is Roadfire, but I think that I got a Roadfire cannon with a definitely not Roadfire knock off at some point. I dont think Ive ever had the three of them together. Should do something about that. I dont think I have any of the micromasters.

Torn between Bomber and Atlas. Atlas is what you'd expect from a late 80s base former. Lots of play value. But Bomber has lots of fiddle value.
Roadfire is so floppy its hard to judge what a decent one would be like

I really like the look of Sonic Bomber. Looks to be a good all-rounder.
Dai Atlas is the duck-billed platypus of Transformer vehicle modes, only without the elegance.

Sonic Bomber is the best looking of all of these! He has a proper vehicle mode, wonderful colour scheme and stole peoples faces long before Live Action Prime was even thought of.

Assortment 4 is a change from last years pattern. Instead of 2 old Autobots 2 new Autobots 1 old Decepticon 1 new Decepticon we now have 2 old Autobots 1 new Autobot 1 old Decepticon 2 new Decepticons I'd be tempted to say that one new Autobot has become a new Decepticon.... But possibly they BOTH have and the more Decepticon Plane looking Powerflash has swapped sides..... The only thing AGAINST this is the Action Masters have their robohats distributed cleanly between the two sides: the Autobots have mechanical partners and the Decepticons beast partners, aping the the 1987 divide of vehicle Autobots vs Beast Decepticons. Obviously we know who Tracks and Sideswipe are. Powerflash is the new Autobot, nothing wrong with him at all..... except when you come to look at the tech specs function: Infantryman. Surely that implies a ground based form rather than a plane which might be more suited to something like Aerial Reconnaissance? You might be able to see where I'm going with this: more next week!

Now that's what I call a catalogue. It is AMAZING! I poured over mine for years, it's so battered. IIRC it is the only 1991 catalogue and was packed in with the larger toys that year. 1990, in Germany, 1992 & 1993 have them but for those later years at least we returned to the leaflets. They are VERY good Leaflets though. LOVE this period of Transformers when we were in charge. SUPERB stuff.

Amazing catalogue, very glad mine survived all these years.
Have no hands-on experience with any of these, but giving my vote to Tracks because he's Tracks.
