MM-17 Air Assault Miron Wins This poll has cost me money, and may yet cost me more. However this week.... this could get expensive!

There are carded Exdimension repaints of NINE of the TWELVE Micron Legend Micron Teams. Deep breaths. Deep breaths. It's only a few more weeks. Deep breaths.
Anyway, Air Defence, because they look snazzy and Jetter is clearly G2 Jetfire.

If there were a G2 of Armada this is probably not far off what the minicons would look like.
I own quite a few of these sets, in part due to their showing up at Orbital second-hand way back when, and I love most of them, but there’s something about the Destruction team’s new colours…

These sets were a limited edition run that was available at standard retail in Japan, ie not a store exclusive.
Buying these at the time was a game of two halves
The first 4, which came out together at the same time as their standard versions, needed to be preordered or you did not get them. They were I believe the first Japanese Minicon repaints made available and fans went mad for them.
The remaining sets were spread out through the rest of the run and were a lot easier to obtain.
Beyond "these are different coloured versions of the Minicon teams" there isn't an overacing theme to Exdimension. Some seem to have a colour homage, some a link to a larger toy, some are just mad repaints
MM-07 Air Defense Micron Exdimensions is nice but right from the word go I've felt they could be better if the clear plastic was tinte red. MM-08 Land Military Micron Exdimensions almost look like a plasyskool version in the bright colours MM-09 Destruction Micron Exdimensions are a nice unified colour scheme MM-10 Race Micron Exdimensions are going for a vague G1 Mirage homage and are probably the best colours this mould set had MM-12 Air Military Micron Exdimensions One of the standard Air Military Team was black already, this goes all in. They pair vey nicely with Armada Skywarp MM-14 Space Micron Exdimensions have a mad radiation colour scheme. MM-18 Sea Micron Exdimensions The purple used here is a dead match for ML Shockwave. You need a set of these if you have him and as such they are the only Exdimension set I have re-acquired. So far .... MM-19 Adventure Micron Exdimensions Again, like the Land Military, a little bit Playskool. The colour choices remind me of something but I've never been able to say what MM-21 Emergency Micron Exdimensions Weird emergency colours. Pair nicely with Powelinx Red Alert

I only have a handful of minicons left in my collection but every time there is a new minicon poll I think: "Maybe I should get some." So far, I have stayed away from that abyss of madness.

I am firmly into my "oh my god I just don't care anymore" phase of mini-con assessment. It's okay. There's only 36 more Minicons to view. Only 36. That's not so many. We can get through this together. It'll be okay.

I watched a few on there in the past year, and it varies by team. Mostly they go for quite reasonable prices, 20-35 euros MOC/MOSC, but I've seen the Air Defense team go for 80 euros+.

Ex implies "outside of" - like in external. Short form of the Extra- or exo- prefix, like in Extradimensional or exo-atmospheric. As opposed to SuperDimensional which would imply a space with a larger number of dimensions than our normal three-dimensional space, or infra-dimensional which would imply one with fewer. Karl

Karl Wouldn't 'Extra' denote 'outside of'? 'Ex' to me would rather indicate... former. As in, was a dimension, but isn't anymore. For whatever reason.
