Hawd the bus. So have we to vote on mutiple Powerdashers as a singularity? Is he one character that can shape shift or multiple characters under one definition?

I think you can approach this several ways, all of which should give you the same answer: - Time Warrior vs the Powerdasher pictured
- Time Warrior vs the best Powerdasher
- Time Warrior vs a random Powerdasher
All of those are good options. The thing is from this catalogue, and their only other appearance on The Battle Is Far From Over only the jet is pictured. So.... The question comes down to Transforming robot or Digital Watch. And I know which way my vote has gone and indeed which way I'd have spent my robot points if this offer had been valid here.

How is Time Warrior not a real Transformer? Just because he isn't a humanoid! Shapism Phil, pure shapism.
Shockprowl - you know who to vote for... Become a Brother in Time!

I remind my colleagues of statements made upthread: Omnibots this week, then best of the rest next week - Powerdasher vs Time Warrior. How are you going to address the issue of there being three Powerdashers and you don't know which one you've got until you open the box? Martin The winning Powerdasher will only be disclosed after the poll ends? Oddly enough, YES, this exactly describes by solution to this problem! Hooray! True democracy finally! .... though I'm sure Some People might get upset with the precise implementation of that solution.... PHIL!!!!! BAD PHIL!!! -Ralph And, should you wish to inform your decision in the Powerdasher vs Time Warrior poll by looking at the other Powerdashers: Here also is Time Warrior's TFWiki page tfwiki.net/wiki/Time_Warrior_(G1)

How does Phil feel about the Beast Wars Mutants? Like The Time Warrior they also transform between two non-humanoid forms!

Despite their ignoble origins, Phil is rather fond of the mutants, and the fictional reason they are like they are.
I also like the tape animals, which don't have robot modes.
This.... This doesn't do anything. It's an Autobot symbol that splits in two to tell the time. It's nothing but a bit of TF tat on a cheap digital watch!

A Powerdasher meanwhile has a robot mode, a vehicle mode that can carry a Diaclone man, and a pull back and go action with auto TF. How can you not prefer that?

All I know is that I really wanted a Time Warrior when I was a little 'un, and never got one. That pull is still stronger than my need for a random Powerdasher.
Robots what do all the things Phil says are ten a penny. The Time Warrior is not!

It is news to me too.
Time Warrior on the other hand... has multiadaptive armour that he uses to track and display changes to the time stream.

I must also point out that the TIME WARRIOR displays the message: '6:32'. 6:32, you say? I have heard tale of that before! What does it mean? Well, gentle reader, let us turn out attention to the Christian Bible and Matthew...6:32!!! biblehub.com/matthew/6-32.htm-Ralph

I can honestly say I don't really understand these 'Powerdasherers', but -clearly- Time Warrior is the far superior looking toy. So yes, we are now- THE TIME BROTHERS!!!!! WE WILL DESTROY ALL TIME!!!!
AND, ERRRrrr, Well, REMAKE IT... 'Cos "NO TIME" is kinda a bit too weird for my primative four dimensional brain to understand....

I vote powerdasher, because as a kid looking at the catalogue, I wanted a transformer, not a digital watch with a flip-open case. "Time warrior" is a fashion accessory.

I disagree totally with Phils reasoning on just about eveything over the last two pages. However he is correct, for the wrong reasons that Powerdasher should win. Powerdasher is great, had the litle guy for 22 years, hes an awesome fun toy. A neat little jet spaceship flying thing that transforms in to a robot with a funny stickered face. Hes a cybertronian throttlebot. Look at that chrome, just look at the amount of chrome hes got, hes makes all other toys jealous for they lack such chrome. And if you buy a powerdasher now , most likely he'll be lacking in chrome too, but you know what? Thats okay too because under the chrome is lovely bright yellow plastic which gives him an even more retro playschool look. Theres nothing to dislike here people, other than the fact hasbro didnt make him and his buddies available over here.

FWIW, Phil's right. What is this transforming from and to? A watch to a watch? It's not a transformer. It's a watch with a protective cover. Tomwe's example is a transforming robot (mine was blue) and not because it has a humanoid form, but because it changes into something else.
This is no different to a ladybird when it spreads its wings. It's still a ladybird.
