It seems odd to have advertised a $500 toy without full pictures of the deco from the start.

I've only just twigged this is in the 3.75 inch scale. Is that what the die hard SW fan still collects? Maybe a black series 6 inch collectable would have gone down better?

No, I meant a different toy. Not the barge. You see those 6" scale tie fighters they had in TRU? They looked amazing for sixty quid. Do that, make a six inch scale Falcon. Boom. 5000 pre-orders overnight.

I dunno. I would think the giant MF from a few years ago fits the collectors needs. I have seen Phil's and it is amazing and also too darn large as it is. A six-inch figure scale MF? Are you mad? Think of the size of it! Same problem as this barge. Are there 5000 collectors with enough room for something that enormous? The shipping costs alone would be mad. -Ralph

At six inch scale a Millenium Falcon would be 114 inches long - around 289 centimetres. If that doesn't sound a lot in just one dimension then remember that the Falcon is almost as wide as it is long, so at that scale it would take up a massive foot-print... The current one is smaller than 3+3/4 scale and it is fairly huge anyway. An actual six-inch scale Falcon would be a behemoth.
I'm skeptical that a six-inch scale Falcon would actually be that much better than the 3+3/4 Sail Barge they proposed, it would likely be in the same order of magnitude price-wise, and given its flatter shape might end up taking up more space than the smaller scale Barge.

Last time I played with it, my Jabba's army, lead by Ree Yees, infiltrated it! Skiff Guards and Stormtroopers batteling it out accross both levels! With ESB Han and Ceremony Luke caught up in the middle!
It's in pretty good nick, actually. Only a couple of areas have seen repair with space-tape. I lost the laser-gun bit years ago though. But now the middle is just a 'Shagf of Doom'. It's one of my favorite toys. Completely magnificent. They should do a new plastic one.
Oh, and I also still have the Action Force cardboard base. Which in many ways it better than the cardboard Death Star.
But my S.T.A.R.S. base... is gone. Just, gone.

Yeah, the Action Force base was superb. I used that as a kid both as the ground base of Action Force, and as various stations that AF and the Rebellion had to board to thwart the evil plans of the Red Shadows/Empire alliance. (It makes a great space station if you turn it on its side and use the ladder well as a big airlock tunnel. Karl
