Listening to the odd RPG podcast here and there has taught me Heroquest has a very strong nostalgia following and the original kit is not cheap to pick up now. There was definitely a niche there to exploit. And a large international following, which Hasbro have chosen to ignore. -Ralph |

As I've been saying elsewhere, that does initially seem fairly steep. But then I compare with other board games I've bought, say Catan, and that's only got a few card board pieces, the playing card deck, and some simple wooden playing pieces - and yet that still costs about £45. Given what's actually in the Hero Quest box the price they're asking for it here seems less unreasonable. Although it still hurts the memory and the wallet all the same...
