I wonder if the foreign orders have been added to the total yet.
I also wonder at what point during today I'm going to give up and put an order in for one.

Were I them, I'd look real seriously at bumping the time table to friday, and adding a Tier 5 that if they reach 25k, the price lowers by a hundred.

Now why didn't you come on the Zoom call on Saturday and break Andu's record for "most money spent on item on the TMUK Zoom call"? Even without you, if I'd have remembered it was finishing tomorrow we could have played "Who'd like to buy a Sentinel?"

Soz, I usually have a Discord call with friends on a Sat eve [we were playing through a Fighting Fantasy book].
Hopefully won't be spending anywhere near that amount on another figure anytime soon!

Trying to think of something Clone Wars, suitable for Haslab? Not Clone Wars, but a 3.3/4" scaled Ghost would be an ideal candidate. I can't think of much from Clone Wars that either hasn't been covered, or is better handled at general retail. But I can think of quite a few Rebels things.

Let's all take a moment to remember poor Cookie Monster...
Okay, that'll do.
I can confidently predict the next toyline to get a second Haslab will be Transformers, with the Titan Class Big Red.

Good choice for something not original trilogy.
$350 again. I wonder if they reckon they've hit a sweet spot for these things.

Seems like a good price to me, beyond normal retail but not astronomical. That said, the Galaxy's Edge Falcon is retail and that's $350 - and it's basically a reissue.

That does seem to be a good balance. The thing is with Transformers is that, unlike the Razor Crest or the Sentinel, they're not one thing but two, and that's naturally going to result in bigger costs. Which I presume means that the next Transformers Haslab, if there is ever to be one, will be smaller, less complex, or not actually a Transforming item at all.

I still say that for Transformers, a better use of Haslab crowd funding would be in producing a small entire line of toys, instead of one giant one. Like Beast Machines- Round 1 being all show vehicons. If thats successful, follow it up with the Maximals. If it continues to be successful, finish with the Grand Mal that opens up to become Megatron's Harness

Listening to the odd RPG podcast here and there has taught me Heroquest has a very strong nostalgia following and the original kit is not cheap to pick up now. There was definitely a niche there to exploit.

Which I presume means that the next Transformers Haslab, if there is ever to be one, will be smaller, less complex, or not actually a Transforming item at all. Going from Unicron to $350 is one thing, but you could also look at it as going from Scorponok at $150 to something twice the money. Wouldn't be twice as big or twice as complicated but you could do a lot more. There's got to be a sweet spot in between Scorponok and Unicron where sales Vs cost means the best of both worlds. Obviously one of the reasons Unicron cost so much is because they weren't expecting to sell much more than 8000. If they'd thought it would have sold 25,000 it'd have been cheaper. If it had been a $350 figure it may well have sold a lot more than 11,000, so there's a balance to be struck between cost and quality. $350 is probably where the curves cross. The thing is, with Transformers, what's left to do at a $350 price that would sell around 10k figures? There isn't anything unless you start to redefine what Titans mean to us. We've got a two foot Metroplex that has an okay base mode for legends size figures, but I'd go to $350 for another six inches and a base mode that had fold out rooms that fit Deluxes/voyagers.
