What if Unicron did show up in IDW - but he was already in pieces by some unknown foe. We are not show anything about who took Unicron out but if this just leaves a mystery. We might even have something to tie in with the 2nd IDW Micromasters that we saw in dark cybertron. If they where more Armada Minicons. But we do have a number of groups running around in IDW - DJD, Wreckers, rouge Decepticons, Circle of light,

I think Unicron will be left alone for quite some time.

We could have Unicron turn up has a black hole & everyone running around to find cyber planet keys to seal it - but thats sounds too much of a bad cartoon plot.

One for the comic formerly known as RiD then.

That can key into that plotline.

Is this the first time Unicron has appeared in the IDW universe? I see from the blurb that ROM is still in the mix as well - is this more a Revolutions book than a TF book? Or are they one and the same?

So, it's safe to assume that Bumblebee escapes from his prison in the next few months.

I think Galador was the homeworld of the Marvel Rom. Not sure that the IDW version is from there, I think that it was a Marvel creation in which case they'd've had to come up with something else because they wouldn't have the right to use Galador.

It does state the Marvel comic origin online but didn't see anything for IDW change origin. So if Unicron may tie in with being someone elses home world. We still need more on the Quintessions too.

A shitty Unicron crossover event could easily drag me back to the IDW fold. Damn them.

I bet Unicron will like to dance and go on city breaks. If so I might be in.

So uh, was this all meant to tie in to Unicron in Transformers 6?

He could still be the surprise villain of the Bumblebee movie...

"Look everyone. It's Unicron Again!" I am. Somewhat unmoved by Unicron as the "end-boss" for Transformers. I have a real feeling of "been here. Seen this too often" to really become interested in this. I think this is an fairly easy pass for me. I'll stick to picking up Lost Light every six months or so in IDW sales I think.
I wonder whether James as organised himself to o,ay out his endgame before this story turns up to get in the way, like he did with More Than Meets The Eye.

Based on those preview pages it'll be a pass from me. Clunky dialogue and painful character 'labelling'.

Yeah, I've not been a fan of that labelling since it was introduced. It almost hurts.

Eh I'm okay with it, preferable to clunky introduction dialogue in every issue

It's the variation of character traits (Big hearted Bee) to functions (Autobot Narrator (at even is that??) which should really be explained as part of the story or just demonstrated by the characters that annoys me. It feels like lazy writing to dump information like that on the reader.

God, I need it remind me who all the bloody characters are. So useful in X-Men.
