They've used that method many times in the past. I thought when Wreck-Gar became so easily available that they'd found a different source, but both ID and Kapow have said Ratchet will be a difficult one to obtain. I'm still hoping for a Takara release given the amount of remoulding, but he hasn't come up on their release lists yet. We'll just have to hope for better availability in Walgreens closer to Christmas and that Toph can bag an armload.

Tempting, but right now, given the Ratchet fiasco, I don't trust them to deliver in the slightest. And they can't be ordered together, eh? Since I only *really* want Ratbat and Rung, that means each figure'll be £30 each (and yeah, okay, I want Rumble too - but you take my point, I hope). I'm going to have to say "no" to this method of obtaining them...

I mean, I can understand some of this, to an extent - they clearly don't think they can shift the rest of the figures in the wave, so want to sell them all as one unit. Which makes some sense. It's no different to when some suppliers charged more for one of the Titans Return figures (I think it was) because it was the only new toy in a wave full of other figures that had been on clearance in physical stores for months. I can understand them not wanting to lose money. But it doesn't mean I like it. And given ID right now, I don't want to trust them. But if I want Rung, what choice do I have..? |

Sets is becoming much more common from the online retailers for smaller items.
In both of the w5 BM & MM I think one will be more in demand than the others (Rung, Ratbat & Bumble)

I would think they will have a good go at trying to fill all the orders they took. They'll have scouts in the US raiding Walmarts until they get enough, even if they lose their profit on them. ID have dropped the ball here, but they're a pretty good shop with a good customer service record. Sounds like they had the rug pulled from under them by Hasbro to be fair.
