You happy for me to stick the video here? I can upload it as a private video on youtube which means only we can see it. So long as it is not public on youtube or Twitter. -Ralph Here we go! As I said, it's been uploaded as a private video meaning it's impossible to see unless you have the direct link, it's not listed anywhere publically or searchable, but happy to delete it once everyone has seen it! Anyway, watch to the end for "Uuuuh I've broken it"

So gutted I couldn't get up (the car at least is fixed today, £135 for a new battery), but seeing The Doc smiling as he rises majestically on a stairlift has genuinely made my day.

Not a good day today. Trip to town this am. Keeled over in WHS - their fault, display in an awkward place restricting flow and imposing tight turns on people. Real problems moving after that.
Starting to suspect my days of wandering round shops are over.

Aw ****
I'm showing signs this afternoon that one of my other long term health conditions is playing up. Could be something else, but together with a few other things I've noticed the signs aren't great. Doctor tmw if symptoms continue.

I'm a bit more comfortable than I was yesterday, which is a good sign, enough for me to think it might have been a flare up, due to some things that happened tail end of last week, and it's going to die down. Doctors are open all day and all week, so not under pressure like I was when it had a big flare up the last day the surgery was open before Christmas 17. Still aware that there's something wrong but it's not anywhere near as bad today. It is however contributing to the walking difficulties......

Might be best to get it seen to though anyway rather than worrying about it flaring up again?

I have been probed. Some inflammation to the prostate but nothing serious.
The problem appears to be down to my lower digestive system getting a bit bunged up thanks to the medication.
More antibiotics, something to loosen me up - obviously not eating enough curry - and go away and see what happens.

Not been good at all this week. Body, and at times, head.
Today's probably been the best day I've had for a little while, I have felt OK..... as long as I'm sat down.
Get up and have all sorts of things happen, wobbles, falls, some very odd spectrumy stuff with noise suddenly hitting me and doing bad things to my head making me very wobbly.
So tomorrow at church, with lots of people in the building might be a challenge, especially as I will be in the cheap seats for the first time in a few weeks - projected from the safety of a comfy chair for four weeks on the bounce, and then was East last week where I wasn't on quite such good form.

Health is a concern.
Not been good for about six weeks now, reported feeling weak when Liz was away, which we think that might have been a virus which combined with the CMT to produce the weakness symptoms. The Kaptain saw how I was when he visited and I think I'm a bit worse than that now. It could be I'm still trying to shrug the virus off OR it could be the virus has triggered a deterioration in the CMT. A virus might help explain some of the other issues and health problems that have flared up in the meantime, notably the prostate a few weeks back
Bottom Line: I'm not right.
I've got a drugs review Thursday in which I'm hoping to beg back the stuff they took me off at the start of the year. I'll beg an iron test then just in case, always worth a check. But hopefully I can use that to get the Doctors to take a look at my general level of health. As I've said, I've not been right for six weeks or so. But before that I wasn't on top form for 3 or 4 months, which was after three months mucking about with my drugs, which played havoc with my digestive system (first change) and did bad things to my head (second change) And Before THAT Mum was in hospital, during which I was functioning OK but perhaps physically pushing myself over an extended period of time.

In some difficulty tonight.
While I was walking round Sainsburys this morning I became aware of a pain in my right foot on the underside behind the little toe. Now thanks to the CMT my perception there is poor, so any pain is a big red light straight away. I thought maybe I'd bruised it or stepped on something while barefoot. I stripped the shoe, leg brace, sock and tubi grip off on the way home on the bus but could find nothing obviously wrong and neither could Mum when I got her to look at it.
Pain continued this evening while out for dinner. When I got home I discovered the skin had cracked on the pad behind my toe leaving a 1cm x 1cm patch a few layers down which is quite red and slightly damp though not obviously bleeding. behind that, towards my arch is another area about the same size where the skin is still attached at the sides but has come away from the flesh underneath.
Quite painful, especially when standing, which is affecting my balance.
Unfortunately I need to be fit to travel tomorrow am. Any suggestions for treating/protecting the damaged area?

Sorry for late response.
Is it feeling any better?
I guess you can just try to cushion the injured area with a dressing of some sort. To try to absorb any friction against the wound.

Not really. Bled a tinsy bit today.
Been wearing plasters and dressing over it but it may need some expert attention

Yes. Wound closure. Keep it clean as you can. Circulation's bad down there. Healing slow. Don't let it get infected.
Why am I talking like a Transformer?

Done. Probably was a rather deep blister. They're happy with the wound that it isn't infected but have some concerns over the hard skin on my feet might give me trouble in future.
