Isn't the Davros pic from the Revelation SE? He still flies no matter the version! Ever since someone pointed out Orcini's leg being behind instead of in front that shot was spoiled:(

Isn't the Davros pic from the Revelation SE? No I think that's the original. The SE was brighter and whizzier with the effects.

New leg braces reclaimed yesterday.
Apart from flaring out the top of the leg to stop it digging in there's been little remoulding. What has been done is some extensive changes to the strapping and padding which makes them a lot easier and more comfortable to wear. The change in my gait is extraordinary, I very nearly look like I'm walking with my feet parallel to each other.
Follow up in six weeks.

Blue Badge renewal form - TICK!
Online too, so I could do it myself. Mild panic about finding the last PiP award but then I remembered there was a "rates of benefit" letter sitting in the post pile.
Relatively painless. Probably should have done it before now!

Rang GP now appointments available for next fortnight. EVENTUALLY got one for a week Tuesday (not wonderfully convenient) 5 minutes later GP rang me up. Pharmacy had requested my repeats and had asked for two things I was no longer on. I said to the person on the phone that this was what had happened but that I might need them as I wasn't happy with the changed drugs due to side effects, which I described. They were somewhat concerned, advised me to ring the triage line who have got me in this afternoon. Let's see if I can get the previous drugs regime and rid myself of the digestive distress and chest pains! OK.... Baclofen being stepped back to previous levels over next few weeks. So should see stomach improvements within that time. At the same time Gabapentine being introduced - was on this one years ago and it did nothing for me but Neurologist was keen on it. Will go back in a month. If that doesn't work back to the Robaxin and Quinine. Stomach has been much much better in the last month or so. The Gabapentine did no good. It didn't help with the spasms, and made me feel very down, lethargic and not quiote right - Malaise was listed as a side effect and that just about hits the spot. I stopped taking it late last week and from mid sat onwards have felt much better.

The bed is raised! Thank You Lord!
Transfers in and out the bed have been getting more and more difficult, with my hip starting to give me grief, so this is very much appreciated
As a bonus, the comic boxes now fit under it too, so we can have a tidier upstairs returning them to their natural home!
