Cheers. I honestly had no idea that's what he meant.
So, hang on, he need permission to put his armour on? Is that what the dialogue means?

Which makes NO SENSE to readers who've never heard of Apex Armour. And not a lot to some of us who have heard of Apex Armour. I didn't take any real meaning from the line either. (I'm certainly didn't make an immediate connection between a new, non-toy, character and a reissue of an Optimus/Convoy toy from a few years ago....) Karl

They should have printed that extra page of art from the original comic & might have made it easy to follow. The one with chracter sketches showing the armour. think in was in #2 or 3.

I figured he was meaning, "I'm going ape" as in "apeshit".
Possibly.

I'd like them to do rubbers in shape of each character - like those glow in the dark plastic G1 things from 20yrs ago. got them in a box, Megs Prime Jazz Starscream. I collect rubbers & be nice to have lots of Transformers one to go with hoovers, planes.

I just got it. My god that was epic. As Ralph says, this issue - and several preceding ones - severely show up AHM by having a similar plot in shorter page space. The return of Stockade and his crew to save Earth was something I genuinely didn't expect, that was a real "holy SHIT!" moment .

RE: Spoiler. No, I didn't see that coming either.
Give Furman his due. He can still surprise me sometimes in what are disposable kiddy toy tie-in comics. Just like back in the day. I've honestly enjoyed the Titan run more than his IDW stuff (much of which I have liked). Faster paced, denser, not written down to kids and unpretentious. Also, it comes out every 4 weeks regular as clockwork so nowhere near as drawn out, even though the strips are shorter.

I was surprised because I'd assumed Furman had either forgotten them or was done with them - but no, like a good long-term planner, he had them in reserve all along! Same with Starscream talking to himself in other issues, I thought it was just standard exposition and then Furman gives an actual reason. Now if only Starscream had actually picked up the All Spark Interface Module in #13 like #22 claimed he did...

I really hope slipping back in to the sequel plotting doesn't affect the UK material too much it's really finding its feet now. Though I imagine the increased readership from the relaunch will be welcomed I could personally do without to many of the stand alone stories that volume 1 began with.
Also I found the picture of Cybertron/Unicron rather creepy, was that just me?

A man at TF Archive has raised the point that Jazz gets more development in Titan than any other movie fiction (including the movie). Which is amazing when he was only in three issues as a main guy, and the last two focused on other stuff heavily as well!
ALL HAIL MEGA-TITAN!

BRILLIANT issue, especially when it's giving us extra pages (but poor Stockade!).
And Starscream battles with a letter-writer who threatens to stick his toy in the toilet!

The Pencil Pod brings joy but magnets are always higher on the ladder of awesomeness when it comes to free tat.
And the HM Armed Forces card. I got the Infantryman one. Blam! Blam!

I wonder what the reprints will be this time? Either Defiance, Alliance or both is a safe bet; I'm hoping they reprint four issues worth of Animated: The Arrival too!

I just hope Starscream retains the letters pages! If it's someone else I will be most upset. I hope Arcee's Personals stay too.
I want to pick up a 2007 Deep Space Starscream at some point. Not because he was in the film, but because is the letters page answer bot and casually mocks young children.
I wonder if Hasbro UK will actually bother to advertise their toys in volume 2.
