Funnily enough, Master Galvatron is the one toy I've been able to compare with the Galvatron that was in the lot; there is a fair difference in the black paint apps.
I have also compared the Scourge that was in the lot with a carded Cybertron Scourge. There appeared to be a a slight difference in the shade of purple, though it's difficult to be sure through the bubble. It may also just be a slight factory variation rather than a true difference in the Hasbro/Takara specifications.
Amongst the collection was an Optimus Prime with black parts rather than blue and with the four planet icons on his shoulders rather than the Autobot logo. Does anybody know anything about this version?

Galaxy Force Megatron quality issue: Just got him boxed and complete off eBay for a mind boggling 99p, but I think I can see why. He's impossible to stand, his feet are just not able to lock in to stop him falling over backwards. Standing him with his legs pointed almost 180 degrees makes him stay up, but it's ridiculous looking.
Is this common for the toy? I can always prop him up, but I'd love to know if there's a better way.

Damn it. Have to balance him up against something.

Perhaps he took to drink in his box ater being sold for 99p rather than £40. He may have feelings of inadequacy.

If someone got me for 99p and STILL complained - I'd feel inadequate.

I never did see regular or Cryo Scourge over here, other than one of the Cryo ones for about 5 seconds at an AA.

Piles of Cryo Scourge in TRU for ages in the same case as Menasor.
Normal Scourge was in a blink and you missed it case with Jetfire that only Argos had briefly at the start of the UK release and was swiftly replaced by solid cased Dark Scorponoks.

Perhaps it was regional then. I hunted for a Cryo Scourge without success! I never saw Menasor either.

Back in the day I used to collect as many Optimus/Convoy toys as I could but playing with Nick's Cybertron Op broke that chain and set me free! I just thought it was crap.

It felt cheap. Awful head sculpt and it was obvious features had been gutted. Vehicle mode looked crap. Easily the worst Optimus toy of all. Big hunk of poo.

What gutted features? Mine had loads of features! He had a matrix chest and a mouth flap that rose on his face, and he was chunky and simple but with a clever transformation and a cool backpack wing thing that clipped on, and big cannons that could flip onto his shoulders.
I had the galaxy force version, with had slightly sparklier plastic I believe.

It's the second greatest Op of the 2000s behind RiD Op/ Super Fire Convoy! Fabulous toy!
