That's not a good move from Titan then - shouldn't be more than £2.99.

I didn't realise it was £3.99. I paid £2.50 for it in FPL and felt ripped off by the general thinness of the comic.
They're trying to improve sales by encouraging people to buy multiple issues by the look of it. The next issue promises "amazing free mask (or mash, as I initially read it) and badges! (2 to collect!)". Wheelie will also go ape, apparently. It's out on Feb 2nd.

£4 an issue now? That seems...strange.

I hope the £6.35 that i paid on 19/10/10 for #19-21 lasts that long & don't have payment taken on 19/1/11 after only getting #19. Titan don't seem to have said anything more after posting on facebook. My next payment should be 19/4/11 - which should be for #22 & maybe v3 #1,2

Not seen a copy on the shelf of my local WH Smith. Think they may have given up on it.

It's been so long since the last issue that I forgot the new one was out when I was shopping yesterday. I didn't realise it was £3.99. ... It's out on Feb 2nd. So if the last issue was dated Nov/Dec and the next one is due February, I'm guessing it's now bi-monthly? I suppose that sort of explains the price rise.

I got my copy yesterday. It has somewhat taken a slump. Liked the Ironhide ion cannon cover gift and the poster was pretty cool.
To think,..£4! I remember paying less than that for TF annuals. The mag itself feels thinner than before too. I may have to compare with an earlier issue.

It's 32 pages this month. the paper quality is also a bit poor this month. It's almost as bad as the final issues of Commodore Format and Amstrad Action. Anyone remember the good old days when it had 2-3 stories each month and cost 2.99? It was only a few months ago.

Anyway, storywise
I can't really see how they're going to finish off the Bludgeon storyline within like 2/3 issues before they relaunch for DOTM, so who think's they're saving that storyline to conclude for the opening saga for Volume 3?

v2#22 is v3 #1 - or #47
So the £3.99 is because the next few issues come in a printed bag.

I think the cheapest we could get a comic would be £1.99
- then you look at papers at 20p. It must cost at least 2p to get each paper to the shops.

I for got about the ads - you hardly see them in UK comics, while in the US Marvel comics - its every 3 or 4 pages.

I was worried I wouldn't get my issue when neither Smiths and Tesco Extra had it (the only two local shops that I've seen to stock it and there have only been one or two copies in Smiths on occasion) but I just had a look on the Titan website and ordered it directly from them. It was only £2.50, too.

dunno if anyone else follows Titan Transformers comics on facebook, but I just read a reply they sent me today about the comic, and it says that after it reboots again for DOTM, they're returning to a monthy comic www.facebook.com/TransformersComic (it's a few posts down)

I will no doubt give the DOTM comic a couple of try-out issues.

I'll be happy to see it get back to a monthly schedule.
Saying that, I feel the title's days will be numbered some months after Dark of the Moon is released.
Saying THAT, maybe as a Transformers: Prime comic it could go on longer?

Depends on how Prime does in the UK - though with no fourth film (as far as we know) in the works, changing to Prime for the 2012 New Year would probably be its best bet at survival.

or maybe they'll do a comic using the characters getting reveal the shield toys or whatever the current toyline is at the time?

or maybe they'll do a comic using the characters getting reveal the shield toys or whatever the current toyline is at the time? I would love it to turn into an ongoing comic incorporating every toyline that comes out in some strange homage to early Marvel.
