I WOULD END MYSELF IF THEY DID.
Fun fact: THE FIVE DOCTORS is what got me to early adopt DVD as a medium. TRIAL OF A TIME LORD is what will finally push me on to Blu Ray.

TOMB OF THE CYBERMEN is what pushed me back on to vinyl after over 20 years away from that format.

Won't let me upload the tweet to the forum, but Marina Sirtis confirmed on twitter than Troi and Riker return for Picard

I think the previous trailer interested me more. If it was just this one I don't think I would be that excited.

My question is, does Barclay have his own room in the Riker household?

I can exclusively reveal from the Picard panel at 'Destination: Star Trek' that Patrick Stewart is in it.

The first bit of proper tie-in merch is out! #1 of the prequel comic. Story is decent, the art I was not so keen on.
When did regular comics hit $5 though?? Eeeek!!!

S1 got an advert during Discovery on E4 last night.

Was it an advert for it as an Amazon series or for it coming to E4?

On Amazon, but still nice to see some publicity for it.

I see UK peeps are watching it already even though we get it tomorrow. Folk can even just sign up for free trial, watch it, then cancel.
Sigh.

It conveys a positive opinion of the show which might well precolour people's expectations going in...
But actual spoilers - there's lots going on, looking forward to seeing where it all goes. Suspicious that Data's/Maddox's/who know! daughters just happen to get accepted into a quantum AI Institute with its high tech stuff and the Romulan Reclamation Facility / Borg Cube (??) with its high tech stuff... who has positioned them there and pulling their strings? And why did nobody call the first one's mum who clearly has more of an idea what is happening?? The Romulan synthetic Hit Squad goons makes me think maybe the synthetic daughters are an escaped project from the latter.
And that is some deadly use of transporters.
Love the post-Romulus stuff... that Picard takes refugees into his own home and family while Starfleet screws them over. Yes, maybe the parallels to today's world are a bit obvious but it is very Picard as well.
All in all both myself and Mrs M really enjoyed it and are looking forward to more. There's action, thought, politics and a meaningful message. Nice nods to TNG in the archive section without being heavy handed. It is definitely its own show but very firmly rooted in the TNG timeline and universe. Great stuff.

Folk can even just sign up for free trial, watch it, then cancel. That's what I've done. (Signed up for free trial, I mean.) If I cancel when the free trial ends I'll definitely pay money for it when it comes out on Blu-ray. But in all likelihood I'll keep going with Prime until the series ends. 'Cos episode 1 is tops.
