Well, he has had a very tough week. And has the burden of a heavy conscience from all that cake he has stolen over the years.

If I can be half as fit when I get to his age I'll be happy.
In other news, I feel that Number One is the sensational breakout character of 21st century Trek.

Felt ep1 was a little rushed in places, but looking forward to ep2 where hopefully they have less of a road map as to where they need to be by the end. Mother on the phone looked off, probably intentional.
All this technology and they resort to a black hood...?
You'd think the instructions would have been to take her alive (or at least in tact), so leading to her explosion was a bit off.

Do you think Picard has someone to pick up Number 1's number 2s from the vineyard grounds?

its compost, don't waste the good stuff! Dog feces has a troublesome make up that makes it no good for that sort of thing. You shouldn't even flush it down the loo as some water processing plants aren't designed to deal with it.

Yes, only herbivore poo is good for plants. The more meat in the diet, the more evil the poo.

As an aside, it was nice to see Kirsten Beyer listed as a co-creator on the show. She started on Trek novels then got a writing gig on Dicovery and has now co-created a Trek TV show. Her books were fab.
Like when Doctor Who returned to TV, it's nice to see talented folk who cut their teeth on tie-in media move over to the main event. Tie-in stuff is often dismissed as pap but much of it can be high quality and as good as if not better than the source material.
