I will see Charlie's Angels, because Patrick Stewart is in it. Yep, that's the only reason I went to see it. No other reason at all to watch a film of this kind, no sir. Honest and for true. ... 1. Captain Marvel 2. Avengers: Endgame 3. Frozen 2 4. Spider-Man: Far From Home 5. John Wick 3 6. Toy Story 4
My daughter isn't even a big Frozen fan, she's seen it once and wasn't hugely impressed, but she really wanted to see this at the cinema and so I went along - and actually really enjoyed it! It's nice to look at, develops a bit of mythology, and is genuinely funny at times. Nothing Earth-shattering, but the time in the cinema flew by.

The previous one of these has just turned up on Netflix. I will have a watch.
I watched their new Christmas animation last night instead - Klaus. Pretty good. It's a nice combination of traditional folk tale with a modicum of modern 'Despicable Me' type humour - not too much though. Visually very stylish. It actually felt to me like I was watching an adaptation of a Discworld story.

Karen Gillen's outfit in Jumanji when she was running around when I watched it on an IMAX screen...wibble...wibble...

Alas I had to walk out of a preview screening of A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD as it was being shown in the wrong aspect ratio so a big chunk of the picture was cut off. Hum ho. I shall try again when it is in full release!
Been too busy to see Charlie's Angels of Knives Out yet!

Frozen 2 - Er.... Its not a great Disney classic but its a pretty darn excellent film. I doubt they'll be doing sing a long screenings of it though. They are good, but not exactly catchy in the way the first films were. Having said that Spoiler Theres a bloody amazing 80s style power ballard that come out of nowhere and might just be the highlight of the film. 38. Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood - Im curious how this will play over here to an audience that probably aren't particularly aware of Mr Rogers. I wouldnt be surprised to find people who half an hour in are expecting this to end in a killing spree. I did wonder how they'd make a film about Mr Rogers, as hes a bit too perfect, but how they framed the story works really well.

I only saw about 15 mins before I had to bail due to a chunk of the picture being missing, but knowing literally nothing about Mr Rogers it did look like a film about a serial killer.

Health issues have kept me away from the cinema so I may miss Charlie's Angels and Knives Out. Hopefully I can stabilise enough fot Jumanji! That is a Must See on the big screen.

Mixed bag of a film, some of it was fine-to-good, some of it was awful, some of it was mediocre. Like Endgame I can't imagine ever wanting to sit down and watch it again any time soon, but it was ok.
