My god I got so excited I pressed send without even typing a message!
Agent Burns posted at 7.55pm and 55 seconds! The help desk went for a fully extended 8.00pm close tonight! This is big news folks, we haven't had one this late for a very long time. This harks back to the glory days of December 2018! What a grandstand finish for the help desk tonight! Truly a special occasion for us all to witness.

The library helpdesk seems confused this evening about when it's closing.
Still. 7.50pm and 44 seconds close time tonight. Fairly consistent with recent showings, but a bit disappointing after last Wednesday's AMAZING 8pm. I'm still feeling the aftershocks from that one.

One minute and sixteen seconds out.
I wonder if the announcer has a special watch to be accurate with the announcement times. I also wonder how long it takes Ralph to post after hearing the announcements. There are several margins for error here.
Does the desk have a light that goes out when it closes?

I have the window to the Hub open and post instantly when the announcement is made so allow a delay of perhaps up to 20 seconds to do that.
I generally time my studies to start winding up at 19:30 and to finish for 20:00 though this weekend I need to stay until I start and finish an essay so all bets are off (I also have the Hub/Internet switched off when writing essays so cannot do real-time helpdesk updates!).
