It's a bit superficial having this poll list Megatron and Galvatron as different characters (they are the same character with a different body and name) and yet not distinguishing between Megatron and the imposter Megatron (of Ancient Relics, Time Wars, Fall & Rise of the Decepticon Empire and Aspects of Evil: Megatron).

I don't think they can really be the same. Galvatron in the US comics is on a tight leash and is very suprised when he is free from observation from Unicron, and the way he's portrayed at the time suggests his retrieval is all too recent, and is concurrent with Shockwave reappearing from the muck to form his alliance with Starscream and co. The events around don't really line up enough for that to be the case. While I am sure it was probably Furman's original intention it doesn't really fit anymore.
I quite like the idea of multiple Galvatron's coming back for one reason or another. I'd been idling that there is a breakpoint which stops the Movie timeline unfolding and sets history off on a different course. Afterdeath would be where it happens for my money, Optimus dying for the first time, as that sets in motion the events that allow Unicron to know Primus lives earlier than they unfolded in the movie timeline.

Martin He should be Lord Straxus!

Straxus and Trannis should both be in the poll.

I'd certainly lobby for Straxus, but be hard pushed to squeeze Trannis in, simply because he's a footnote. An interesting one, and there's material to be mined, but in the context of the comic we have no sense of how he went about things, was he just lucky enough to be at the top of the totem pole, and more effective field leaders did the work? Was it really the case that the best of the best left on the Ark and the rest of the Autobots were so demoralised/incapable that it took the deaths of the council and destruction of Iacon to turn things round?

In the Grand Moff Martinverse there are just two Galvatrons, both from futures that never come to pass - the one that appears from 'Target: 2006' to 'Time Wars', and the one that appears in 'Perchance to Dream' and US #67-79. No Megatron ever goes on to actually become Galvatron because one Megatron dies in 'Two Megatrons' and the other dies in 'Another Time & Place'.
I have no idea about the Galvatron in 'Aspects of Evil: Galvatron' - does he die in 'Aspects of Evil: Unicron'?

He doesn't look in good condition, but it's not clear that he is dead, he looks injured and angry at the very least.
