AoE/TLK era Cheetor concept art: news.tfw2005.com/2021/01/21/transformers-beast-wars-film-cheetor-early-concept-art-by-rob-wiggins-427653First, I hate it, but not that much. Second, it's actually recognizable as Cheetor. That robot head, I don't like it. But I can actually see Cheetor in it. It has the horns. It has the central crest. And hard to see, but even the side of the helmet around the face has the right shape. If I had never seen a bayverse design and you showed me all of them and asked me to ID them, I would recognize this as Cheetor. Can't say that for most of the rest.

Sounds promising. Sounds quite RiD if there are Predacons and Scourge's crew. Scourge! In a movie! Top. I'll buy one.

Apart from Mirage being a Porsche 911, obviously. I mean, there are limits.

So pleased to see that they've learned their lesson from the Bumblebee movie about keeping things smaller and not throwing too much in like they did with The Last Knight...

If this is a prequel to the Bay movies then the Beasts can't do much rising what with none of them being about later on.

Just like Avengers 'AGE of Ultron' when it was actually about 'A Week At Most Of Ultron'. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which ended with Cobra Commander announcing his rise and then immediately being captured by the Joes and put into suspended animation. Martin

It could just mean that the Beasts are being paid more than regular car robots.

Well the machima series shouldn't be a measure of anyone's abilities.
But at least he's worlds better than the netflix guy who mkes Primal sound absolutely sloshed.

Aye, piss poor voice direction on Machinima AND Netflix, suspect the movie will have someone actually bothering doing that role, given the money spent on it.

That's actually a good sign. If it's not ready to be released and they need more time, then they should take more time. Also this means that the new Nickleodeon series can have all the focus when it airs - provided it's still going to air next year, that is. Although the big question is whether Hasbro have any merch for the show planned, or whether all their efforts were going into RotB toys which now can't be sent to stores...

It's more likely a response to delays elsewhere rather than the film itself (other films from that studio have also moved). Studios are routinely pushing back their tentpole films due to Covid. When one studio makes a move, it causes a domino effect at the others. Disney did it last week and now we are seeing the ripple effects.

I hope these are early renders. Prime, Jazz and Bumblebee look insubstantial in the footage.

Just looks like more Bayverse to me. I find it hard to believe that people have been longing for more of that rubbish but the makers of that trailer certainly think they have been. At least no Baywatch (badoom tush) Baygaze shots.

I hope these are early renders. Prime, Jazz and Bumblebee look insubstantial in the footage. I would guess so. I didn't think they looked like final product either. The trailer fails to convey what the story is about. My enthusiasm has actually dropped! -Ralph

Yeah I agree with most of you. I’m no fan of Bayverse and also have no nostalgia kick attached to Beast Wars either. But my son now enjoys loud movies so I’m happy to go and endure / be pleasantly surprised.
