Ooops, discovered a reason to own Hotlink. One call to out Birmingham agent and one is secured.

Would that reason be something Battlemaster related?

It comes with Battlemasters.

But surely Phil already knew this. What has he now discovered that makes these Battlemasters relevant where they weren't before? They aren't homages to old Targetmasters are they? I thought they weren't.

Ooops, discovered a reason to own Hotlink. One call to out Birmingham agent and one is secured. Wrong name, I'm tired! SCRAPFACE! Nick was getting Hotlink for The Kaptain and succeeded! Hotlink's Battlemaster's blast effects are Blowpipe's, minus the flash round the base which is removable

Wait a minute. Hotlink was secretly in the Sunbow show the whole time? I thought he was a new guy for the Netflix show.
I am having flashbacks to Sunstorm.

No, they're a homage to his flamethrowers in the G1 cartoon Yes, I know that, even though they don't look anything like it (still want a 3P co to do a proper one). I thought you'd found some obscure connection that made them necessary, but I see we're actually talking about Scrapface.

I like how Impactor now has mustard legs.
Is that a new head on Optimus?
No radical repaints this time like Mirage and Scrapface in wave 1.

Bumblebee’s a must-have for sure - he looks really good. And that’s a better animation head than either of the Masterpiece toys so far. Now we just need one that gives him his proper G1 toy head.
Elita-1 also pops a lot more in those photos compared to her renders. Although it remains to be seen if the production model will be that good.
The rest are nice, but I’ll pass. Despite how much I want a Pissramp.

The last B&M on my jaunt today was next door to Smyths, so I popped in for a look as it was pretty dead. That Megatron is lovely! Having that as soon as there is a sale. There were shelf loads of them. I thought about buying Sky Lynx, but having just shipped 60 quid on Who figures I thought better of it.

I think I'm reconciled to BB's Big Gun by making it a homage to the Dreamwave cover with him over Bruticus.
