Hmmm, yeah, that back-pack is a bit of a poor do; great big wheels hanging off it.

The legs do look pretty bland from the front, don't they.
So how tall were the CW combiners? I don't have one out to hand to check. Will this fit with them?
Edit: internet reckons CW Superior is 11.75 inches to the top of his antenna, so I think this will be bulkier and a tad taller.

For some reason I thought that Menasor would be a lot bigger - maybe because, knowing he's Commander Class, I was expecting something Jetfire-sized, and then bigger after his limbs were added on. Forgetting, of course, that Jetfire's the maximum size a Commander is likely to be, and that Motormaster comes with the trailer that makes up the bulk of the gestalt form anyway, so it was never going to be bigger than that. Slightly disappointing, if unsurprising.

Yeah, the legs look very bland from the front. Unfinished. Mistransformed.
It's a funny set: in some ways it looks superb, yet in others ways it looks unconvincing.
I was never going to get it, but I feel sorry for those who are 'cos it means collecting all the combiners all over again.

Menasor is a very faithful realization of a very bad drawing.

I was really looking forward to collecting these (Stunticons being my favourite combiner team) but I've always liked Motormaster being the whole truck/trailer. And his legs look like arse. If the truck cab isn't really forming the feet (as it should) then at least hide it somewhere else. Or have the (single) truck cab just form the entire bottom half of the legs as it is. The combined mode is pretty much a Powermaster Optimus Prime affair though - a great concept on it's own, but does render the other four Stunicons unnecessary.
A shame as Wildrider and Dragstrip look really nice.

I didn't bother collecting full teams in CW but something about the Legacy Stunticons is growing on me.
I had Dragstrip, Wildrider and Motormaster as a kid so that might have something to do with it.

Dragstrip is interesting: the chest/cockpit is securing things in robot mode. It needs folding down to release the other parts. Head then folds in and the arms & sides of body fold upwards and join together to form the front of the car. The Cockpit then gets it's hinge rotated where it meets the body and is folded up and into place. So what you THINK is the front of the cockpit, at the top in robot mode, actually is the rear!
He's not Bulkhead but there's some interesting stuff going on here.

Indeed! I find him to be really fun to transform. Not too difficult to be irritating, but not so simple that it's uninteresting. I find myself sitting there just transforming it back and forth while watching TV.

I was never going to get these, but Wildrider's humongous backpack is a total deal-breaker. That must be a disappointment, shirley?

Not really, the picture that shows it folded up is decent enough.

Not to derail this, but why do people go camping and take sinks, fridges, sofas and TVs? I feel like they're missing the point.

Is it just me or are the proportions of the trailer off? Should be longer? Looks almost SD.
