ID has piles of them at TF Nation. I am intrigued if they will sell in this type of environment.

Yep plenty of people walking around with them at TFN. Not me, surprisingly, but I am waiting for a sale.

There are a few of us older fans on here, who have been excited by most of the Titans so far but rather less enthused by this Metroplex. It's easy for us to forget - or not even realise - that there are now plenty of adult collectors who were brought up on the Unicron Trilogy, and Metroplex has that same nostalgic appeal for them. I saw plenty of that age at TFNation.

I really wanted to like the new Metroplex, but apart from the size he just didn't spark much joy for me, in that he's basically the Cybertron figure bigger with tweaks. There was a much bigger leap in design from the G1 figures to the Titans than the Cybertron which was already really good. It's a bit... expected, and doesn't really fix the rather uninspiring alt mode which apart from the wheel is eeeh. Especially for £190!
I've not really got on with the Titan sizeclass though. The only one really like is Black Zarak, I think he works in both modes and is actually fun.
This is the sort of energy I was hoping for from Cybertron Metroplex:

I see pulse have started a 20%/25% sale. Can't see much to write home about although it you're a pulse member, metroplex for £150 is closer to reasonable. Galaxy Shuttle sold out quick. Does Phil need a £150 Metroplex? That all depends on whether or not Phil thinks he'll be able to get Metroplex cheaper at any point. It will drop further. Consider the current economy. Be patient. -Ralph

Never easy to say. I would imagine that this is not that appealing a toy to most TF collectors and the general cost of living is causing hesitancy among buyers anyway, so stocks of this might hang around. £135 is about what we think of as the Titan price, before the world went mad, so I guess there's still room to move this down a bit. I mean, look at that Jurassic Park set. £115 or so originally? now £30. I think Metroplex could come down to £100.

It seems to be plumetting fast now.
Wonder if this will finally be the end of the Titan class.
Or at least a switch to Haslab.
