I passed a runner with a belly light on the way home tonight. First time I've seen one. The South is being infected with the madness of the North. They are a genuine hazard. In poorly lit and/or rural areas = absolutely fine, but on pavements in well lit town areas = a hazard. The lights blind other users of the pavement. There are times I have been so disorientated by them that I have lost my bearings and ended up on the road. If someone must have a light, it should be angled towards the ground, not straight ahead. -Ralph |

I was thinking to myself that I had forgotten how similar the composer's scores of that period where when I suddenly almost doubled over with unexpected stomach cramp. 2023 Run #92: it was all going fine until I suddenly and unexpectedly needed a massive evacuation of waste materials as I passed by a Local Shop. It was night in the pissing rain and I was in a residential area so nowhere to go. Too far away from any emergency field so I had to turn back and run home at maximum speed. Made it back with only seconds to spare. I've never run up a hill so fast. Jeebus.
