I am more of an endurance runner than speed so I found it didn't matter much not logging the runs.

It's good for both, as it tracks your individual kilometre performance so as you train for longer distances you can see how your speed/pace is. Plus as you train, you should get sharper and quicker so it's good to have an accurate baseline to start from.

I just like going for a run because it benefits my mental health. I'm slow as heck but don't care.

I opened Strava this morning and the run was there, so I saved it, before this mornings 5k. Slower than yesterday, but it was treacherous in bits due to ice. Will try for another two or three this week, end the year on a decent note, and set me up nicely for a better 2024.
