2024 Run #53/100. Had to stop for a bit on a woodland path to help a toad cross safely. It would have got squished otherwise. Made sure it got to the grass on the other side so it could keep moving downhill towards the canal.
Toads do not hop and are rubbish climbers so they need our help this time of year. They travel from higher areas to lower areas which have bodies of water so that they can spawn. They can't climb kerbs, etc, so if you see one you must help them!

2024 Run #57/100. Managed Death Mountain better than expected.
Trying to vary my routes a bit more. At the foot of Death Mountain is a Raja Bros* convenience store. At Christmas they had a big screen telly put on the wall outside showing various things. Excitingly, sometimes they show ads for local businesses.
Alas, Raja Bros TV was just showing an ad for the national lottery today.

*There must be dozens of the brothers, for they seem to run 99% of the wee stores in this part of Englandland.

Are you increasing your run lengths or pace, or just staying consistent?

Just staying consistent with 2-3 runs a week of 5-6 miles a pop. I remain as slow as ever!
