I crumbled, mine should be arriving today.
It's definitely niche and seems plentiful in supply right now, but it has the air of being one of those releases that in a couple of years everyone who slept on it will regret it and it will shoot up in price.

Arrived (along with the Super Mode Starscream).
Not opened yet, but it is gorgeous just in the box. I've always liked when Takara puts their exclusives in monochrome boxes, whether it's grayscale or some other colour, but this one seems to particularly pop. The yellow cab does it I think, but the colour tech spec (sticker) on the back of an otherwise grayscale box is also very nice.
