Finally opened my Optimus. Absolutely fantastic. The detailing on the arms and legs for what were originally stickers is just great. I'm a little dispointed the trailer is just the G1 trailer but not sure what I expected there. Might have just bought the cab if I'd known/realised, but finding out it's cartoon colours makes me glad I got C-01.
Really hope we get more of this line - Decepticons please!

Might have just bought the cab if I'd known/realised, but finding out it's cartoon colours makes me glad I got C-01. It's not just the G1 trailer. Launcher is gone. In it's place the entire control tower structure, including the blue base, detaches from the truck shell as an autonomous vehicle. Trailer has been re-engineered to allow the control tower to serve as a mobile drone at the cost of the launcher mechanism. We were told the trailer was toast previously so I'm guessing it was a ground up redo. Roller has also been modified so his 5mm port is on a pivot You can just about see the Contol Tower's wheels in this pic |

My only disappointment is that it's not quite in Irn-Bru colours. Close, Takara, but not close enough...

I want one, though it is ugly. FB seems to think it's the truck Prime was scanned from in the first episode. Certainly, the angle of the shot matches the angle of the truck when it is scanned and the colour is a good match.

It's just a shame that the trailer isn't similarly recoloured. I'd say that maybe that would be too much, but then "Shining" magnus already exists, so there's no argument there...
