That still looks really good - although now it's been pointed out that Roller can't actually peg into the launcher (on account of there not being a launcher) then his pegs are really starting to bug me...
Also I'd not noticed before that the animation and toy versions have different style Autobot insignias, to better match what they're each meant to represent. So that's nice.

I'd have thought as they're trying to differentiate between these two releases that the axe would be exclusive to the cartoon version.

I like what they've done with that. Whilst the Anime Edition Matrix is obviously correctly coloured, the toy-colours version does indeed look like how they might have done the Matrix had they given Prime one in 1984 (or in a 1986 reissue of the figure). I like it.

Multiple revisions of the same figure representing a character meaning as a consumer I don't know what the line's identity is.
It's good to have choice, but not at the expense of collector confusion.
