I mean they did already do that weird, tiny Buzzworthy Bumblebee. There's still time for them to decide that's the new Minibot scale...
But, if that's not a misconversion, I'm very disappointed in that robot mode chest just hanging on the back of the vehicle there - that's very lazy.

I've reached the stage now where I am happy enough with already having decent toys for certain characters. I'm happy enough with the T30 incarnation so don't want to spend £55 on a new one.

Sandstorm is a childhood fave so I'll have to have this, but I hope he can be posed so he doesn't look quite so much like an orange stuck on a couple of pipe cleaners.

I like the T30 Sandstorm version more than the Springer version. You are not alone in that, I didn't think the underlying design really felt right as Springer, but I thought it was absolutely fantastic as Sandstorm. Karl |

Armada Tidal Wave and Galvatron play Cybertron Hotshot, Starscream & Vector Prime Size wise Armada is winning it, plus there's the toys from last year where Cybertron has Galaxy Force Op & Titan Metroplex a little further back. Starscream's an excellent choice since we didn't get the original voyager and Vector Prime is a good one too. BUT We want Armada Minicons. We want SG Sideswipe & Minicon in the Wheeljack colours. We want more cons. We want Starscream's repaints and remoulds. Surprised Vector Prime is Jhiaxus but can just about see it. I thought Jhiaxus was destined to be Armada Thrust, banged to rights. He may well still be, just odd to see something else get a use of the mould first. |

I was going to say that I was impressed that they've packaged Sandstorm with a cage, because that's... you know... a *play* feature. Which I thought was forbidden these days.
And then I realised that that cage is the extra accessory which justifies a Voyager class toy being sold at a Leader price point, and compared to the accessories we've had with other, similarly-sized figures, it... does not hold up so well.

Wow! that's massive - not quite Dinobot massive, but close. After a long period with no must-buys I expect I'll be ordering this one.
Can we get Octane next please? The tanker bit needs to be super chrome of course.
