They didn't do Sideswipe in CW because he isn't one of the big characters who they can have multiple versions of at the same time and while CW was happening there was a Sideswipe in RiD2015

TFP Breakdown wasn't in NuRiD. He died in Prime.

NuRiD Stunticons were 2017, after Combiner Wars had finished tfwiki.net/wiki/Menasor_(RID)#ToysNo, the set did not have a Breakdown but did have Menasor, Motormaster and Dragstrip. Whereas Sideswipe is in all 3 years of RiD2015 and doesn't make a Generations appearance at all in that time. Optimus, Bumblebee, Starscream, Soundwave and Windblade all have versions of themselves in Generations and RiD2015. Lady Jet was considered a big character! |

I see what you mean but it would appear there are different teams on the 'collector' lines and the 'kiddy' lines so it may not have been obvious internally.

I do think canon G1 Subgroup character in the dedicated G1 Subgroup line trump the "only one appearance" rule. Can you imagine them skipping Chromedome in TR because he was used in nurid?
However, Sideswipe was never a combiner, so no reason for him to be in CW while he's also in nurid.
Even if TFP Breakdown was alive and kicking and had a nurid toy on the shelf (keep in mind he didn't even get a significant toy in the west, during TFP), I still think that he'd be in CW.
Though they may have replaced him with a g1 colored Offroad initially instead of Wildrider.

So I got the first two sets.
Breakdown is as big a disappointment in hand as I expected him to be. Though actually for different reasons.
My copy isn't great. Nothing tabs together, wheels pop off at a moment's notice, some of the joints are loose. It feels like the seventh outing of the mold, instead of the third.
That aside, in hand I actually wouldn't mind this mold as Breakdown, if they put actual work into it.
New truck front, and new shield/canopy bit to change his vehicle. Would have changed his look a lot, without any structural/engineering issues.
Plus it would have made him not look exactly like his rival, which is my main problem with Breakdown (I character I genuinely don't care about) from this mold.
Windsweeper is quite lovely. Don't honestly have a lot to say beyond I like him.
Chop Shop, is so much better than the last time they tried to make a Chop Shop from Shrapnel. Also don't have much to say.
Barrage is amazing. Dark green isn't a color we get a lot, so his green and yellow makes him pop. Add to that, designing Bombshell with a reversed torso for the new folding horn and new head just makes him feel like a brand new retool, instead of being just a new head repaint (which is what he technically is). Definitely my favorite!
I have nothing good nor negative to say about the minotaur hammer. It's a thing that exists. I wish they made him wrecker blue, though.
