Unlike my Yodel delivery driver yesterday, who was, literally, ONE STREET AWAY FROM MY HOUSE, then drove off to a different estate a mile away while the online tracker updated and said I had 30 DELIVERIES BEFORE ME!! Still, I got my Swoop yesterday in minty fresh condition, so I MAY forgive Yodel.....in time. |

If it helps, Yodel got an item of mine 5 days ago to deliver but tracking shows it has just been sitting there.

Mine is the opposite. Chest won't lock into place on one side, feet are totally floppy.
Add to this how utterly out of proprtion his beast mode is and I find myself utterly underwhelmed.

The only thing I'd change about him is the crest on the back of his head, it's too small for the Pterosaur mode. Like, make it slide out for the alt mode and back in for the robot.

SWOOP IS HERE
He's good, but I can understand why some folks maybe underwhelmed, particularly by the dinosaur mode.
Robot mode is lovely, just a head shorter than the others, nice face sculpt. Feet and knees a little floppy but not too bad on mine. Chest works fine for me.
Dinosaur mode... erm, Professor Yaffle comes to mind. There's just no good way to pose him! He's got no dino legs!!! Was the G1 toy like this?!
Bit of a shocker really. I've found I can stand him in a more dynamic pose by un-pegging his backpack thing and bending his feet bits down. You can then kinda balance him, or use his wings to balance him. It's... yeah, it's not great actually, but I think I can pose him adequately enough. I imagine with a flying stand he'd look great in the air.
But I am pleased with the robot mode. He really looks the business and slots in with the others perfectly. The blue really pops in combination with Grimlock's gold- breaks up the team's red and grey.
The dino mode is good... until you try to pose him landed, with his chums. Then it's a bit tricky, to be honest. A less positive person might consider it a let down. But I think I can work with it.
So I am pleased, but also surprised with some poor design choices. And although mine seems ok, I'm concerned with the quality reports from others.
It is the End of The Road though.
The end. After so long.
Unfinished teams really twist my mellons, so big sighs of relief. A weight is lifted. I can enjoy them now they're complete.
He's probably the poorest of the SS Dinobots, but... he'll do. Just.

I got Grimlock and Slag. Not Snarl or Sludge due to not having infinite money at all times for hobbies and now they go for silly money. Swoop looks poo though so I may just leave it at Grimmy and his Slag. I have a full set of POTP Dinbots so the 'get all the team' itch has been scratched and I got the wee Core Swoop, which is ok. -Ralph |

I would need to sell kidneys to get SS Sludge and Snarl.
I did get the yellow tiger stripes G2 version of SS Grimlock. I will probably get the Comic Edition version at some point.
If any of the others get G2 treatment, I will get them. I would be more interested in getting the whole team in the G2 style.
