I was thinking about this, and I suspect that we're only going to get one more wave of SS86. If the Dinobots are the BIG toy price point you need at least four waves. Stepping down to where Scourge and Hot Rod is, who is left to fill that scale? Wreck Gar, and a Sweep have been romoured (Which is the easy repaint already) and then? I can't think of anyone.
Blaster and Perceptor will fill deluxe size, and then... again, there isn't a movie cast member I can see fitting there.
You could at a push make a case for deluxe Brawn and Gears, and repaints of Sweep #2 and a Junkion to fill out a potential third wave with Swoop, but then who do you package with any fourth Sludge wave? Or the mythical fifth Snarl wave?
With Earthrise rumoured to be getting Rodimus, Galvatron and Magnus, and is getting the re-release of Arcee, there isn't anyone left to take the SS86 any further forwards that I can see. All the other notable characters have been done recently. Springer, Shockwave, Soundwave, the Strike Planes, Cyclonus, The Autobot shuttle crew and Moonbase staff, heck, even Astrotrain. Maybe there's a place for the Insecticons or Blitzwing?

I mean if Gears would warrant a place, would Windcharger too? That would give us deluxe updates of all the Minibots then.
We know Gears was planned for Earthrise and shelved, so this could be a place for him, after all, he was fleetingly in the Movie. I can see wave three happening after all, then. Couple of easy repaints to bulk out the Sweeps and Junkions and maybe you'd get there...

So I think at best it's:
Wave 2: Slag w/Daniel, Sweep #1, Wreck Gar, Blaster?, Perceptor?
Wave 3: Swoop, Sweep #2, Junkion #1, Brawn?, Gears?
And that's at a real push.
But with three Dinobots, you'd hope that Hasbro would complete the lineup in whatever Generations happens next. Or mixes up 86 with normal SS releases.

Well look on the bright side, we haven't got any rumours at the moment about a new Bayverse SS wave, but we do about 86, so that does seem more likely, and the only leaders rumoured have been Slag and Swoop.
Given the first wave are now just about out, we can't be far off some announcements about the next lot.

Yes, if it was a proper figure then it would be a bonus - I've nothing against Wheelie. Even if it didn't transform but at least stood up straight would have been fine.
I'd have been happy if they just repacked the Titans Return one.
Just have to look at it as an accessory, like Kranix and the Quintesson Prosecutor.

The worse thing about accessory Wheelie is that we like to post about him. And when I see a new post in this thread, I keep hoping it's pictures or news of Slag and other new toys - and am disappointed it's just squatting Wheelie again.
