At the moment it only goes back to #462, so not really any good for back issues. Might consider switching my DWM purchasing to digital though, to join my other regular magazine purchasing. Easier on the storage front.

Hopefully back issues will go up in due course. I don't want to chuck my back issues but they take up too much room!
I would rather have PDF's I actually own rather than this rental Ios crap format though.

They are mainly in some (not all) WH Smiths. I saw the second one in one branch of Sainsburgeries.

I wonder what the downloads will be. Cover is a bit of a disappointing cut-and-paste from a million other publicity images for the 50th but that 1960's style mag looks lovely. Ooooo, cuddly Colin card! -Ralph

I take back my complaint about the generic cover for DWM's 50th issue: it's just for the cardboard case. The actual issue cover is fabulous. I loved the mini-issue from '1964'. Worth the asking price for that alone. Got a few belly laughs from me, especially the letter from 'Neil Naive'. Re-arrange the letters...

Decent sub discount offer in DWM. It may be time. I've only been buying it every month for 20-odd years.

The torment of having to clear out a 20-year run of DWM in recent days and days to come (lack of space) has pushed me over the edge to moving to the digital version now one is available. I would prefer pdf's rather than an app and the resolution of the Ipad2 I use isn't as good as print but it's a tad cheaper and no more tears when issues have to go out. Trying out the trial £2.49 monthly sub option. Will still pick up specials and issues with tat I need in paper form.

If I had anything bigger than an iPod I would be going digital when my sub is up. I still might if it's on Zinio by then (like Adventures is) as I could then read it on my laptop.

I grabbed the free trial thing they had when the app went up, but I haven't picked anything up since then. I am considering making the switch to digital on it though, it is the only magazine I am still regularly buying in physical for and, like you Ralph, I have to regularly ditch issues and this is becoming a problem. It was why I switched both of my aviation magazines to digital and I do swither on whether DWM should join them.

I read a big chunk of the new issue on the Ipad last night and after I got used it I was fine with the format.
