Wow! That just brings home to me what a fantastic job you've done! Knowing what was there, and seeing these photographs makes just how much has been relocated so much more tangible.

Today: Second set of shelves in, assembled by L and J yesterday. None of us can decide if they're straight enough but given the unevenness of the floor it's hard to tell. 1 left over upright from this set. We're going to unscrew the unit holding the TF boxes from the wall in the library, after moving the boxes, and move that down there whole building off the side and placing it opposite this unit. We'll then move the books from the library down there. |

Having been away for a week dog sitting there wasn't much progress last week. This however...... We got the plastic crates off the shelf unit in the library and got them down to The Garage. Currently stacked in two adjacent piles. We got the unit out the library and then hit out first major snag when we discovered it was higher than the ones already there and too tall for the rear of the garage! Fortunately we had a shorter one in the living room here so we unloaded that, swapped them round and took that down instead. This is one of the more recent photos of the garage I had taken. See the shelves on the left? They now have a matching pair of units on the right due to the unit we took down and the spare end that was there. We also stripped out most of my non epic trades from the library, boxed them up and got them to the garage ready to go on shelves. Far too many days when I've been physically shattered at close of play despite not doing any of the lifting. A tiny bit of sat on floor moving books is the physical limit and that's taking it's toll. Tomorrow...... a trip down to shelve books. I think we're looking at an X-Men shelf, a mutant books shelf, a FF and associates shelf, an Avengers team shelf and an Avengers solo books shelf. Do that and we'll have some of the stuff off the floor and we can start moving other things round As a result of removing the front rows of books The Essentials are now visible in the library here again having been the victims of some double stacking |

 Books now on shelves to the right. 2nd mat, the one that was rolled up in the left of some previous pictures, down  I need some more shelves before we do much else! Here's one of the entire length of the garage.  Today we did some measuring. Buttress to window is a bit over one shelf width. Window is just under one shelf width. Window to front wall is a bit over one shelf width. This is a result and couldn't have gone better if I'd have tried. So I can get 3 units along the window wall, shelves in the middle above and below window, and 3 units on the opposite wall |

While on tonight's mission to the loft some of my Britain's space toys - see tmukhub.proboards.com/thread/12122/britains-space-toys - got dropped Most of them survived ok but one of the space craft is now so much yellow plastic shrapnel :-( I am now terrified about moving my Zoids but Mad Thunder in particular.... |

Small trip to the garage tonght. Liz got some of the pegs out their storage slots in the shelves - she struggled with it too! - the we got a couple of shelves in and unloaded some stuff.
Really need the old shelving brackets off the walls and one set of shelves straightened now
