5-Page preview? That's half the issue isn't it? Toooo short!!!! Each ep is toooo short! Just get into it and- bam! Issue over!
That said, I'm enjoying it. I loved the scene between Megs and SS. Great characterisation. But 3 issues in out of 12, when are we going to see some deeper plot and stuff?
Highly excited 'bout he 'Next Week' page! Prowl and Ironhide going at it, again, with Jazz looking on. Great stuff. But suuuuuuch a long wait between issues! And each issue is soooooo short!
Alright, I'll stop moaning now.

The next month page was the best bit of the issue. Prowl and Ironhide's faces reminded me of the human-like appearance of the later issues of the Marvel title. Sadly the comic strip itself took me less than 5 minutes to read (most of the time was spent looking at the pictures), which is poor value for money when it costs almost £3 an issue. I'll probably flick through the next issue when it's released and make a decision to buy it or drop it and wait for the inevitable 6 issue paperback.

I didn't like issue 3 much on first read, but it's grown on me subsquently. The Decepticon character scenes with Megatron, Starscream and Constructicon really improved - but it's weird, I'm so used to seeing them as bumbling idiots in the cartoon it's hard to take them seriously as galactic conquerors! That picture of Astrotrain saying All Hail Megatron is 12 issues long was really funny!

This series sounds like it could be like Ultimate Spiderman then - with not much happening each issue but filled with good art [shame about the writer]

Is that white Autobot on the cover of number 6 kneeling or does it have short legs?

Kneeling and looking "kewl" as that is Drift - the sensational character find of 2008.

I don't know who drew that cover but I think they got the perspective of Drift wrong. Even taking into consideration that the body is bent over the waist and that the legs are bent at the knees, both parts of the legs look too short as well as the body so if Drift stood up Drift would look small. What is the point of inventing a new character? Isn't there other under used, already existing characters in the Autobot ranks who are much more deserving of the attention that is going to be lavished on Drift? Will there be a toy released of Drift or does it mean that being a made up character makes Drift more susceptible to being killed of at the end of AHM? And why can't I get the image function in the post reply section to work so that everyone can see a picture of what I'm moaning about? |<o>|

it always strikes me that transformers who paint themselves white or bright colours want to be seen in battle. So this Drift must be pretty cocky then are those insecticon bits on the floor??

Will there be a toy released of Drift or does it mean that being a made up character makes Drift more susceptible to being killed of at the end of AHM?| I read an interview with the AHM author who suggested Hasbro were keen on the idea of making a toy after they saw the early sketches for the character.
