I say event rather than convention because I don't really consider events where there aren't many guest panels to be conventions. So the London Comic Expo is more an event than convention. I'd class ones like Bristol Comis Expo being a show due to table there from indies showing there new comics or other related stuff - these get big name actors there too. Which you do see at the London, Cheshunt, milton keyes stuff.

In a pale echo of what other folk have said - welcome indeed to the Hub.
T'is odd, now that folk have been mentioning the subject I realise that I am actually not to worried whether I ever see Peter Cullen at a convention, but am much more interested in the possibility of seeing Kaplan as a guest at some point. I have no idea why though.

No offence to the voice actors because they are often hugely entertaining, but its the writers and toy designers that make for the most interesting guests in my experience. The G1 toon writers panel was a really pleasant surprise at this years Botcon. Culens worth it for hearing Eeyore in person.

Neil Kaplan, to be honest, is now very unlikely for this year as we haven't hit our pre-registration target that we needed to break even and cover his costs. Our only chance is if a sponsor comes through in the next 24-48 hours that I'm talking to.
However, there's always the possibility of our 10th Anniversary convention in 2010...

I think Jon Goodall should give a talk on his Herculean efforts on Total Wipeout. Or better yet, re-enact them live on stage.

Forgive my ignorance, who is Jon Godall and what is Total Wipeout?

Jon Goodall is T4E ad Total Wipeout is the physical game show what he won last night.

Jon (T4E Jon) and Total Wipeot is a Takeshi's Castle kind of show on BBC1.

Ah right. I didn't know Jon's surname, hence my confusion!
