While I believe he did have some legitimate issues in AEW, he handled them badly and he clearly is an arsehole who will never admit to being in the wrong.

AEW World's End was grand.
Christian is the unassailable MVP of that company right now and if he's not in the top 5 of the PWI 500 then something is drastically wrong. Impeccable heel work since he turned on Jungle Boy.

Hopefully Reigns drops the title at Rumble leaving a head of the table match to take place without interference as the Sunday night main event. Having said that... I'm not sure Rock could go for 25 minutes anymore (although Reigns' pace is typically pretty slow), so do we really want this? Stone Cold Vs KO was surprisingly good though, so who knows?!

Not gonna deny that the Wyatt spot at Mania was weak and was a cheap shot at Jinder.
It's tough for these big comebacks to be booked well as you always want the comeback to look strong and in a promo it's always gonna be megajob.
At least Jinder got some decent heel time prior to Rock coming out.

Lots of appreciation surfacing for Jinder Mahal who was showcased as the decoy champion making his return. Even Tony Khan couldn't stop tweeting about him. Jinder's even got a main event match on RAW next Monday. It's good to have him on TV again.
The Rock VS Seven of Nine was a great encounter back in the day.

He forced his way back and was instrumental in getting WWE sold to Endeavour to make TKO Holdings because he had the najority of stock that conferred voting rights.
No way to force his way back again as while he holds stock in Endeavour/TKO he doesn't have enough, and they had been trying to minimise him anyway.
Rock had been announced on the board ahead of the allegations, and that's probably more to do with bringing the XFL under the Endeavour banner.
Women's Rumble was great last night, men's was solid but a few missteps - R-Truth was absolutely fantastic.

{Spoiler}Given the promos of Cody and Punk prior and that Cody is on the cover of W2K game, Cody was the obvious favourite to win the rumble anyway.
I managed to avoid the picture of Bayley, so that still was a decent surprise, especially with how early she entered. |

{Spoiler}Was very pleased that Bayley won, but I had been fairly certain that was going to be the case, as I do believe we will see a Rhea Ripley/Becky Lynch match at Mania.
As soon as Jimmy and Jey were in as 1 and 2, I thought Cody would win. Also a very underwhelming opener for the Mania match, but they needed them to get into it to set up their Mania match, but neither of the Uso's are Main Event material and they have frittered away the Bloodline storyline, all to give Roman some meaningless fucking record. |

AEW did their show in August last year and will be back again this year.
The WWE nooted Wrestlemania in London - not yet, but could see it in 2025/2026 they have the venue locked in a year in advance, sometimes longer.

Doesn't matter what reaction you get, as long as you get a reaction. Means he can come back as heel.
I'd have booked it with Roman drop the belt to someone else and have Rock come in then on the reasoning that Roman without the belt isn't fit to be tribal chief anymore, so the match is for that instead of the title... in 2025.

Yes, that was my fantasy booking for it as well, and you can have the Rock go over, Roman go away and then come back and you either have a road to redemption story for him, or he comes back uber heel, but fresh.

Stayed up to watch the press event.
The crowd want none of The Rock, he briefly got the catchphrase shout along, but he was getting booed, thing is it wasn't proper heel heat, it was go away heat. When he leaned into being a heel at the end, it's clear they have backtracked internally from Rock/Roman and they had to.
Again, Roman burying the other belt, absolute heel no-no.

Crazy idea... Seth Vs Reigns, title Vs title, but not on the line. And Rock Vs Rhodes.
Rollins wins shutting down any critique of it being a lesser title.
And have some interference from a returning Ambrose for Shield-sake. If Rhodes and Punk can return, why not Ambrose? I joke, I'm fed up with interference in WWE these days.
Edit... Also can WWE learn that the event number does not equal number of years. WM25 was not the 25th anniversary and WMXL is not 40 years of Wrestlemania!!
