Right, less than an hour to the Rumble.

Great Triple Threat match with Rollins, Cena and Lesnar. The most effort we've seen from Cena in a long time and Rollins looked like a genuine main event player.
The Rumble match itself...dreadful and the crowd shat on it from a great height.

Triple Threat was my fave match of the night.
The Rumble this year could have maybe done with an underdog win. So much hatred from the audience, especially through the 2nd half. The winner this year was too predictable and people refused to eat it up.

Though generally saving money until work stuff sorts itself out I too decided to get the network as I'm not currently spending on anything else. Lots of stuff in the on demand section, though I've mostly just flicked through thinking 'hmm, I'll watch that, yeah that too..'
As for the rumble I think I enjoyed everything apart from the rumble itself and yes that triple threat match was brilliant.

I think the cancellation of the Raw event due to snow was a bit of fortune, and allowed them to try and minimise the damage that had been done to Reigns by the crowd last night.

I think they worked that into their advantage for sure. Tuesdays Smackdown taping event is now a house show, with the Thursday TV broadcast slot becoming a live supershow.
Good move to avoid two studio clip shows in one week.

Wrestlemania weekend...
Current plan is to watch the event with Mr Spence and his good lady after work on Sunday.
With Lesnar resigning, does anyone else think that they might not have Reigns win clean, as I think they realise he has lost the crowd.

Spent Wrestlemania at the residence of Mr Spence.
Good fun it was, main event delivered and it sorts out a rather thorny problem of fan reaction. Interested to see Raw tonight.

Very enjoyable Wrestlemania. Going in... With Lesnar resigning, does anyone else think that they might not have Reigns win clean, as I think they realise he has lost the crowd. Yeah I was thinking along those lines. Liked all the matches, though felt the Divas tag match suffered from elongated moments of AJ lying injured outside the ring. A bit confused about what's happening with... ...Sting. Triple H's victory caught me by surprise, but figured OK I guess it's going to continue... then there was the handshake. OK maybe not. Post-Raw Sting seemed to suggest he's got nothing lined up. Unless the crowd had predicted correctly and he'll be doing something with Taker (and was just ignoring it).

I know what you mean with... Sting's handshake at the end of the match didn't seem right so immediately after being hit with half a hammer. It was made worse by HHH coming out later and burying him further on the mic. This to me was worse than Taker's streak ending so badly.
I could almost make out HHH saying "Remember what I said..." when he held his hand out. Not sure what that meant...
Win or lose, Sting is still Sting like Taker is still Taker, but both didn't play out so well... I could see the Rollins cash in coming. I guess for a stalemate.

The HHH/Sting feels like Vince said we need to win, as it was the final nail in the Turner/WCW coffin.
Pointless.

They massively telegraphed the cash in by commenting on it after the earlier match.
As much of a fan of The Great One as I am, the segment with Ronda Rousey felt super forced and took way too long, despite the awesome build up due to the crowd.
The headbutts at the top of the ladder were pretty laughable.
Still, enjoyed most of it even the divas match.

Yeah the Rock but was a bit too long.
I do think the entrance did Bray Wyatt no favours he looked utterly ridiculous.

WWE have confirmed that AJ Lee has retired in news that surprises no-one.
Since Punk left it has been a case of when, not if she left.

I think production were banking on it getting dark for Bray/Taker's entrances having saved it for later in the card.

I saw that too. I wanted to hear more from Jericho after hearing his shoot on Hall of Fame fan etiquette.
The Smackdown brand road trip stuff wasn't that interesting, but I liked where they touched the subject of not turning heel and the 5 moves of doom.

A sad loss, Jim Ross has blogged and from what he said, it looks as if Dusty may not have been in the best of health recently.

Met AJ back in 2005, A real class act and continues to be.
I wonder if we'll see more Calf Killers than Styles Clashes. An AJ match at WM is a must.

Hoping the program with Jericho is just filler before he gets something meatier.
Do we know if there will be a MiTB match at Mania this year?
