12pm Lunch at Bottelinos Restraunt. You aught to be looking to be in Swindon by 11.30 ideally. Get a 1,1a,13,14 or 18 to the Outlet Village from the bus stops on Fleming Way
followed by Steam Railway Museum
then, depending how long we are, back to my house for tea & Doctor Who

Matt: Do you want us to come and meet you atb the Station on Saturday ? If so let us know when you're expected.
Martin - let the Scotsboys know if you're coming back to the station for a pick up with the 2nd group transported. If you don't and get the bus ask for a return ticket.
A/R/K/N: If you come out the station turn left and there's a set of stairs. Go up them. It's easier for Liz to park up there.
And what time is the train due in ?

EDIT: The Scot's lads are flying down to Cardiff on the Friday morning, and then getting a train from there to Swindon at about 13:55, so we should be there at about half-two on the Friday afternoon. My information says that the 13:55 gets into Swindon at 14:57. |

Jonathan went to bed tonight clutching his Mini and put it on the pillow next to his favorite furry people. He is very pleased with his presents but I think we're going to save the last one for a trip away in a few weeks time.

Just checking in to the thread to say that I had a fantastic weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed the flying visit to Swindon and Cardiff. The visit to Steam on the Saturdy was great, a very enjoyable museum that is, and the cornucopia of amazingness that is Phil's loft left me stunned and awed.
My thanks to Phil and Liz for putting us up, and for feeding us so well. Your hospitality was most excellent and very much appreciated. Likewise, my thanks as ever for putting us up in Cardiff on the Saturday night Martin.
All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend indeed I thought.
