I've booked my room at Express by Holiday Inn, Swindon City Centre, for Friday 30 April.
Tomorrow I'll try to book the afternoon in question off work so that I can travel from Cardiff with yon Scotsmen.

I heard my name being mentioned and swooped down Batman-like from the rafters.....
The Scot's lads are flying down to Cardiff on the Friday morning, and then getting a train from there to Swindon at about 13:55, so we should be there at about half-two on the Friday afternoon.
At least, that is the plan as it stands at the moment.
It would definitely be good if you could make it Blueshift.

Oh yes!
I want to see Ralph with MP Megatron, no instructions, a timer and good lighting. And I want it filmed for YouTube.

Today I tidied the loft. Any visitors to it will now be able to get to all the toys up there.
But not J-Decker. He's come down to meet his adoring public.

My information says that the 13:55 gets into Swindon at 14:57. I thought half-two sounded rather swift! What train do we want to catch on the Saturday evening? Only it's a lot cheaper if you book a specific train rather than getting an open return. The 20:13 only costs a fiver. Martin

As to trains coming back I was just about to drop you and Phil a line Martin and say that we should discuss this. I am open to suggestion, but agree that we should get tickets booked in advance (It it the adopted Scot in me it perks up at the sound of "save money"). I am open to suggestions on what train we should aim for, taking into acount what suits yourself and Phil et Familie. (Also, the promise of a J-Decker guest appearance makes Karl happy. It is a good long while since I last saw that wonderful toy) Karl

What we usually do is time shift it on the Freeview box and watch it at 7 when Jonathan's in bed - if not asleep. 45 mins brings us up to 7.45
So allow a bit of time for faffing about and getting you all to the station and I'd say 20:39 might be a good bet.

Have you ever met his friends though ? I have Fire Duke & Gun Kid too !` I haven't had the pleasure of their company I must admit. I once owned a partially functional KO of Gunkid but that is the closest I have come to them. Martin, let me know if you are planning to aim for ther 20:39 heading back, if so I will see what I can do about getting the Scots Contingent booked accordingly. Karl

Nothing I can think of on my part, except for a mild allergy to eggs - but I don't imagine that will be a problem as I take care of that by the expedient of never eating them. My thanks also to you and Liz for offering to feed and accommodate the Scots lads Phil. We are most grateful for your hospitality, and to you for yours Martin. Karl

I've just had this idea. Would it be possible for the Swincon attendees to link up online via Skype to the non attendees so that we can all keep up to date on what's going on?
