Yeah, such a strange decision.
Bumblebee is on there in a not for sale/rent situation too.

Rights for digital download/streaming are even more fucked up than things used to be for VHS/DVD.

I could never get the Ultraviolet 'digital edition' that came with DVD's to work.

I have that folder amongst my collection, but not the stills. It has a synopsis etc.
I do like the more unusual ephemera, especially things that were not intended for public circulation or consumption.

I have a different press book to this - it has the same cover, but with 'Press book' on the bottom left corner with the 'Rank' logo. Inside are some advertisement blocks and usable competition puzzles and of course info on the film.
Strangely (or not) one of the 'advertisement blocks' has been cut out of mine - possibly for use?

My 4K Bluray arrived today. The cover was swapped for the UK one straight away and the UK poster has been framed, No messing around.
Shame I dont have a 4K telly.
Or player.

Is there a blu ray version in with it? I seem to recall the product description couldn't decide if there was or not.

Have we seen any comparisons of the colour grading to the previous Blu-ray?

Yes, Prowl's death-belch is a more vivid orange.

Martin saw a steelbook of the 4K TF:TM in HMV Cardiff today.
Martin likes collecting steelbooks.
This one had Rodimus Prime on the front.
Martin bought Apollo 13 instead (not a steelbook).
Martin still does not own TF:TM on disc.

Coh. You're as bad as that Shockprowl fellow. Outrageous. Even though I don't care for the film, I probably would have bought the steelbook if it had the original movie poster art on it, or equally good artwork, rather than just a boring picture of Rodimus Prime. Martin

I looked in to 4K player prices.
Bloody hell I thought Bluray players had failed to break through to the lower price mass market but 4K Bluray is double that. Cheapest I found was £135.

Saw the TF:TM steelbook in HMV again this week. Ignored it and bought The Suicide Squad steelbook instead. And shook my head at the fact the TF:TM was priced at £32.99 compared to £29.99 for TSS in its first week on sale.

I've got it about 4 times now one in steel tin. I'll have to look at this new release - what extra new stuff is on it?
If you go back & look how many times Transformers characters transform during the film. It's only really Hot rod & Kup who do it the most while others are on once during the film.

Just watching the BBC shown Orson Welles story. We had been told that all the other voice actors never saw him when he came in to do Unicron. (note so far no mention of Transformers in the BBC show). But the show shows Orson being a jolly guy & that the studios were working against him. He got sent to south america so a studio could recut his film & then blame him for wasting money, then he gets costumes impounding all films he was working on. Then people mis quote him to make him look bad.
I don't expect to see any Transformers stuff mentioned - just at ep 1 of 2 1hr 31 mins in
