Anyone got know or got a link to what all the variants of the micromaster combiners are (Sixturbo etc). I know there are some differences between the original Japanese G1 releases, the blind box reissues from ~2002 and the Universe reissues. I have all the regular versions from the blind boxes plus black Sixturbo and white Sixwing - just trying to work out what I can ignore from the rest.

Not fussed about stickers vs tampos or very slight colour differences, so Sixliner and Sixturbo are done, but I've got a bunch of variants to pick up for the rest.

Real is better than KO. I try to replace KOs in my collection with real ones, just my lack of money getting in the way for some of the Japanese G1.

the metrobomb feels a bit shonky but its nice to have. the bonnet doesn't go down and stay in place. but for pocket money its great.

Excuse the shoddy pics, but the real one has a yellow face, versus gold on the KO:  They also use screws instead of pins, plus the legs are separate:  Metrobomb KO is a much brighter orange than a real one. Real one is the same orange as Skystalker. |
