Kenobi film idea - he's involved in some way with the Crimson Dawn who's leader has beef with him that he wants resolved. Tracks him to Tattoine and adventure ensues. Discuss.

I'd love an Obi Wan movie if only to see Ewan again, the problem is that the whole "Obi Wan stays on Tatooine in secret exile, keeping the same name and wearing his Jedi outfit, also he has hidden Darth Vader's son by letting him keep his name and putting him back with his family" is absolutely bananas and anything that draws attention to how bananas it is can only hurt any such film!

Solo seemed like a set up for a series of mostl stand alone films set in the half way point between Episodes 3 and 4. Lando, Kenobi and Fett would all presumably be set here unless they show Fett surviving rotj. An Ashoka film would also fit there, though a film set after Rebels/rotj might make more sense at this point.

I'm done with SW prequels at this point. We've had 5 of them. Let it rest, I say.

Han actor is signed for two more appearances afterall. If they happen though, and in what capacity, is a different question.

Solo provided a set-up for more stories set before A New Hope, but hopefully they've finished doing prequels showing events we knew about, i.e. events to set up the original trilogy, and will now focus on events we know nothing about, which stand up simply as good stories.
As the Anti-Ralph, I still have enthusiasm for more prequels, but none at all for the sequels.

There’s a nice theory that it was a trap - they hid Leia to train her up, eventually by Yoda, and Luke was bait while Obi Wan waited nearby. But it didn’t work out because Anakin didn’t know about the kids and had no intention of going near Tatooine ever again, then Leia got captured and the rest is history. It isn’t watertight, but it would be a serviceable retcon if they needed one! It’s slightly born out by the short story “There is Another” in From a Certain Point of View, where Yoda is not too happy to be expecting Luke rather than Leia, and I believe that book has the backing of the current team at Lucasfilm.

Hmm... It would seem Vader would be more likely to cross paths accidently with Leia in his duties as a galactic overlord if she is hiding out with courtesans than Luke hiding out with a bunch of rural farmers on a planet he never intended to go back to.

Yeah, like I said, not watertight but arguably better than the original! It's a case of hidden in plain sight vs not hidden at all in a back water.
My memory spares me the trauma of remembering anything from Revenge of the Sith. Does Anakin know it will be twins?

I always felt Chewbacca had a certain lanky grace when he moved, which fitted the character's big heart and loyalty. And that was down to Mayhew.
