No idea. I gave up after five minutes. I didn't think Will Smith was in the second one. I thought I was seeing some kind of flashback, but then realised I wasn't.
The recording on the box was 2hrs 20mins I think, so (wikilookup) if the run time of the original is 123 mins and the extended is 13 mins longer, it could have been the extended version depending on how much bobbins was recorded on the end. It was on Sky Showcase over Christmas (I'm on Virgin, don't pay for film channels) so I recorded it thinking Martin had highly recommended it. Never mind. I'll see it some day.

Netflix recently got Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 and it made me go back and rewatch both of them for the firsttime in ages.
I had completely forgotten just how good they are. With the success of Lord and Miller since then I shouldnt have been but I did. Not to mention how stunning they look (the films not Lord and Miller).
