Indeed, and they're adorable!
And as adult collectors have dominated the action figure market, there's not much left for the medium to smaller kids who want toys of their favorite movies and cartoons, like we did.
Playmobile is a bit young, but it's a better option for the 6-8 year olds than something from imaginex or playskool, than going straight to the high-end action figures meant primarily for display shelves.
This $500 enterprise isn't like the $50 Ecto-1 or DeLorean, though.

Indeed. A $500 Enterprise is baffling when their other licensed stuff such as Ghostbusters is so cheap. This price-point feels very out of character for Playmobile's brand.

The original artists, Varner Studios, who sculpted the 90s line are the ones doing the new line.
So good feeling!
(Apparently they also did TMNT, which really explains a lot in how Playmates captured lightning in a bottle twice)

I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't just the original line redone with slightly better head sculpts, slightly better proportions, and slightly better articulation.
