I ended up getting a set of Skyfall/Hardhead/Powerglide from ebay when I found out that Skyfall and Hardhead upgrades were in the works.
I found Powerglide to be a bit boring colourwise though, prefer the Henkei red one.

I've never been able to find that set of 3 toys at a reasonable price. I must be looking at the wrong times!

I got the set of 3 on ebay for £75 shipped from the US back in March. I dunno how easy they are to find these days, shame ASDA didn't get them in.

Yeah, I was waiting in vain for them to turn up cheap in ASDA. Oh well!

Energon Bruticus re-release. This goes for mad eBay prices so wooooo! Really? I remember when shops couldn't give them away for circa £8-15. -Ralph

I've come close to buying one of those several times, but I can't go Hasbro knowing those Takara colours are just so much nicer.

From the extra poll thread: tmukhub.proboards.com/post/527301/threadIt seems unfair classing Rollout as a minicon. I tend to think of him as a Minicon who happens to also have a suit of Exo-armour that he can wear. Sort of like a mouse on giant stilts and a trenchcoat... :-). A bit like Universe Countdown - where I've always imagined that the Micromaster Countdown is sitting in a cockpit in the chest of the Universe toy, interfaced with it and piloting it like a mecha with a neural interface jack of something. Karl *quietly puts Universe Countdown on the wants list*

Nope. Cybertron Red Alert's Ultra and Legends of Cybertron toys both have quite similar looking red repaints and yet they represent different characters. And the Micromaster is the Ultra not the LOC

You are aware that more than one character can be red?
Would you now say these also masquerade as Cliffjumper? Sideswipe?

Oh yes, more than one character can be red.
But two VERY similar repaints of the same character's different scale toys having different names?
Anyway Universe 2 is some way off yet. Still got more companion Minicons to deal with first

But if they were the same character why would they have different names?
If a loose, vaguely similar matching colour scheme is all that is needed I am looking forward to checking in with the cab of Ultra Ratchet later.
